1) The color scheme should follow the Three's Company colors. Maybe go with the colors that are displayed in the kids' apartment (i.e. brown for the door and having 201 in the background).

2) It would be cool to have smilies with all sorts of emotions.

3) Here's some rank titles I've come up with. Level 1: New Tenant, Level 2: Dumb Blonde, Level 3: Arcade Florist, Level 4: Chef, Level 5: Registered Nurse, the last level should be entitled 'Landlord'. (I like the examples you suggested too.)

I agree with the color scheme. Three's Company always makes me think of the color orange.

Okay, I'll try to work in some yellows/oranges/browns. I'm not sure if I can add a 201 image to the background, however. Oh hey, I know... what if I take a screenshot of the empty set and make it the background? That might just work. And I like your ideas for the ranks; I think I'll add a few more, though.

Oh yeah, the name of the forum is "Hers and Hers and His Online." So far there are four sections- "Apartment 201" for general discussions, "The Regal Beagle" for fun and games, and introduction board, and a miscellaneous chat section. Do you think I should combine the last two and call it "Jack's Bistro" or "Janet's Flower Shop" or something?

*Update* I had to switch hosts because Freeibhost was way too confusing and wasn't letting me edit the forum logo. I found an excellent new one called Invisionfree that has a wonderful support forum for all my forum-building needs. It's still an Invision Power Board, so it has all of the great features I mentioned before, except for the no ads part. Unfortunately, it has a Google banner text ad near the top, but it actually doesn't look too bad. I can even change the banner ad background color to blend in with the color scheme. Anyway, "Hers and Hers and His Online" was over the maximum character limit, so I had to change the name to "Apartment 201." I liked that name better anyway but had hesitated to use it since I know there's another site out there with that name... but oh, well. That leaves the cateogries to "Jack's Bistro" for general topics, "The Regal Beagle" for fun and games, and "Arcade Flower Shop" for off-topic discussions.

*Whew* So to make a long story short, I got a new host, and everything's working out great now. And to think I could have saved all that typing...

I think Apt. 201 that you mentioned is Jack Tripper's site, that does the RP with us.

And I've only been on AIM once recently, so I haven't been able to catch Wolf. Too bad I can't contact her through her Myspace account.
