Wow, October...the 10th month of the 12-month calendar year (and concidentally my b-day month). Where the hell has this year gone??

Hmm, why I write you may ask? Ok maybe you're not asking per se, but I suppose it just donned on me--as I get super hyped and ready to get my hands on Uncharted 2--just how massive of an explosion of stellar titles that are going to be ending this year out. Think about....not only do we have Uncharted 2 coming out but also this month Tekken 6 (I pray to make that my #1 b-day gift), and Brutal Legends to name a few. And next month (and beyond) is no slouch either with releases like Dragon Age, Assassin's Creed 2, Gran Turismo 5...geez, the list goes on. I guess it shouldn't be a surprise as it is coming up on the holiday season, yet stil is it me or has the abundance of triple A titles seem to have really picked it up a notch to end out '09?

What will really be interesting to see is how the console price cuts will also spike sales during the holiday season as well, and who will benefit the most. I have to say this end of the year is definitely shaping up to be a kick-ass time of the year. Just hope we all got some money left in these tight times to reap the rewards....or at least I hope I do.
