For the comparison of car prices my sister borrowed Nissan Tiida (Versa), great car, loved it. In the States this car costs 11,000 $, in Poland and EU in general it costs 25,000 $. Ok it's a Japanese car, but the same with German cars. It is cheaper to buy Porsche in the USA, ship it to EU, register and pay tax than to buy it in EU and it's nearly three times cheaper. Well, the fact is that the same cars for EU and for the USA are in fact two different cars. For the reliability, driving precision and economic usage it is better to buy cars here, cause roads are narrower and tighter but the price difference is a killer. I was thinking about buying myself ticket to the USA and going for shopping. I'd buy loads of gas too, but it has less octans than European.

Nope mate, not soon at least. I called a guy who brings cars from Deutchland and he said, that 9k euros was the least he could find a decent car. That's 2k more than I originally suspected and 1k more than I was ready to spend ona car... Car first, G card second or third, there's excursion to Egypt next year...
