I'm a 22 year old gamer from California. Yep, the land of the fruits, nuts, and flakes. I was convinced to join Gamespot by my half-brother who goes by the handle skyyfox1.As you can see from my "My Games" list, I don't stay interested in very many games for a long time. There are some that leave an impact on me though such as; "Devil May Cry", "Metal Gear Solid", "Resident Evil", "Splinter Cell", "Shin Megami Tensei", and we can thank "Final Fantasy VIII" for my rampant Rinoa fanboyism. Hopefully, if I can ever get away from these games, I might be able to go out and get a job so I can buy more of them (Maybe while I'm at it I can also get a social life).
I like to talk, but I usually get really timid when I'm around alot of people I don't know and I'm always at a loss as far as what to talk about. This is probably the main reason that I don't get out very much (as well the result. Funny how paradoxical life can be). Hopefully, I'll be able to break out of this rut I'm in somewhere down the line, but I'm not holding my breath.
I have a strong interest in computers despite the fact that I'm not all that savvy with them. If I ever get around to college, I'm definately making a course associated with computers my top priority.
I'm also something of a small time gun collector. Some of my favorites include my M1A, and my Remington 870 Tactical. As I said before, I live in California. Which means my choices of firearms are rather limited. What can I say? California hates gun-owners as much she loves drug users. Another I like is the Five-seveN (Light recoil, good penetration. Just ask my dad's mattress. Heh, heh). The Carbon-15 is a pretty good rifle for target practice. I just wish I wasn't stuck with this "California legal" piece of shit. I actually have to disassemble the rifle in order to load it. Rediculous!
What else is there to say about me? How about my music preference? Although I'm not particularly a fan of very many bands, there are a few I listen to, though. Metallica is one, but I'd probably say I'm mostly a fan of Cradle of Filth. They're not exactly a true black metal band, but hey, what do I care?
That's about all there is to say about me. I'll end this with a little comment about video game violence. I know a lot of people here don't like others connecting video game violence with real violence and they often point to their selves to argue that it had no effect on them, but ask yourself one question: "Do I think about violence more often than I did before?" Well, I hope I didn't wear out my welcome with that, but it was a question based on personal experience rather than knee-jerk reactions. At any rate I'd hate to piss everyone off before I've even said anything in the forums.
