I will say you were waiting in the ticket line and jumped some poor fellow, caught picking his nose, and got a free ticket...and some candy too (jk)

Midnight showing.

There were only a few theaters doing a midnight showing in my area, and none of them were even close to where I lived. I have a full time job with too many projects going on that I cannot just ditch work for a day. I have been putting in a lot of hours lately and was owed some comp time. I cashed it in, took a half-day on Friday and saw one of the first showings of the day.

What was nice was that the theater was not too crowed. No one to steal candy from. The bad thing was that there was a pack of idiots that would start clapping in some of the stupidest moments in the movie and they were the catalyst to get the other morons to start clapping as well. Eventually, some of theother people got sick of clapping and stopped following the group in the back. My kingdom for a heat-seeking brick to shut them up.

The movie was great. It lived up to the hype and it was very funny. I cannot wait for it to come out on DVD so I can see if there was any deleted scenes and I am not afraid to admit it, to listen to the directory and creator comments.

Glad you saw it; I saw it too because I love the Simpsons and I want to support the show in that it stays on the air forever.
