Bought the White Edition of Assassin's Creed 2 this Thursday and just finished it a few hours ago...
When I started playing I was very sceptical towards the new storyline and setting, but in the end the overall experience was very satisfying. The ending was better than the last one, although still pretty confusing (less so if you manage to gather all the hidden video files, aka "the truth", scattered across the game).
I'm not gonna say too much about this game, other than that it's awesome and everyone who liked the first one should buy this as well.
Been playing this game in a few, intense sittings over the last week and I am glad to say it was very very good. It had a great, original yet true-to-the-series plot and featured characters and environments that had the same dark, gothic feel I would expect to find in the Batman Universe. Gameplay was great and didn't get old before it was over. I especially enjoyed the parts when you are locked in a room with a handful of bad guys and need to take all of them out as silently as possible, with all of batman's known gadgets at your disposal while doing so. These areas can later be replayed in the challange-mode, for which I am very grateful ![]()
It is true what they say. This is the greatest superhero-game of all time! ^^
It's crazy.
I just finished Dead Space (which was super-awesome) and I would certainly give it a second playthrough, but there's too much to do!
I've only just begun playing Final Fantasy VII since i downloaded it for PS3 like two weeks ago and I just bought a new copy of DMC3 Special Edition (my old one was broken) so I descided to play through that as well. Along with the new DMC3 I purchased Okami which, judging from what I've played so far, seems very good. At the same time God Of War 1 & 2 just fell through my mailbox yesterday and I'm expecting Final Fantasy XII, Zelda: Twilight Princess and Batman: Arkham Asylum to arrive at any time now...
Also, I still havn't beat Rogue Squadron II (almost played it through last week but got tired after a few tries on the final mission) and I feel like I havn't spent enough time with EndWar either. And oh yeah, I have like half of PoP: Warrior Within left to beat and PoP: Two Thrones is still lying around untouched.
On top of all this I'm trying to study a course in Psychology... X)
