Oh, hello there. I haven't written a blog in 2 months have I? I guess it's time I bring life back into my profile and prove to everyone that I am indeed still alive.

So what have I been doing for the last 2 months? Well since becoming a Gamefly user I've been spending a lot of my time playing tons of games that I otherwise would have never given a second glance at in the store and playing games that I would have liked to have bought but instead rented. Lets see here, I'll pull up my Gamefly rental history and give you a rundown of what I've played in the last 2 months starting from August and ending now.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine - Great game, worth a rental.

Wanted: Weapons of Fate - Extremely short game (about 3 hours) and the points were easier to get than finding a free to play Tetris game online. I got all 1000 points in it in about 2 days.

Halo Wars - Left me a bit cold. I've played a lot of RTS games in my time and this game just couldn't hold up. It was too simplistic and just wasn't much fun.

Too Human - What you've heard is indeed true. This game is terrible. How anyone enjoyed it is beyond me. The only thing it had going for it was the loot and if it didn't have that it could has been the worst game I've ever played.

Dissida: Final Fantasy - I like Final Fantasy. At least the 2D games. From FFVII and on I have ignored the entire franchise. This game was mainly just fan service and had more of an emphasis on FFVII and on. So I didn't really like it. The combat got very boring as well.

Ghostbusters - Yes, I finally got the chance to play this game and I really liked it.

Batman: Arkham Asylum - Wow. Just wow. This is game of the year so far. I absolutely loved this game.

That's not everything I played but they are the most notable.

Expect another blog in the coming days. I have some things that I'd like to share with you guys. I had to post this boring blog just to get back into the swing of things.

I hate when I am unable to think of smart titles for my blogs!
I haven't done anything special these past two months.

Batman AA sounds like GOTY material, too bad it got released in the same year as Uncharted 2.

"I Gorged Myself on Gamz!!!" There's a title righ thur, brah!

I liked Halo Wars. It wasn't a fantastic experience but I think it was good and had enough things going right for RTS games on consoles. I haven't touched the rest of those.

How does Dissidia emphasize FFVII-FFXII? I've played through most of the story and I've yet to see that. Firion and Cecil have a lot of things to say.

You've never played VII, VIII, IX, X, or XII? I won't say they're all really good, but there are some good games in that set.

I want to get Ghostbusters but I don't know if I will or not.

When I mean ignored I mean I didn't like them. I have played VII, X, and XII. I didn't really care for any of them. The series, at least for me, lost all it's charm and stopped being attractive when they went into 3D. It's really just a preference of mine. I may try out IX though since it seems to be more of a homage to the 2D games. It's also been a month or two since I last played Dissidia. I remember it putting a lot of emphasis on FFVII and beyond but I could be remembering it wrong.

I don't know. I just didn't get that impression myself.

As for charm, you may or may not know that I'm currently playing through XII for the first time and well, it's in my honest opinion that of all the games VII on, XII seems to have the most "charm". IX sure has a lot, too, though I didn't really wholeheartedly enjoy that one. You might, though, given your preferences.

Ghostbusters was a lot of fun online. Arkham Asylum was just awesome.

Wolverine not worth the rental for wii, trust me Gamefly sent me that trainwreck in place of Call of Duty 3

@jazzfan4

I rented the 360 version of the game. From what I've heard the PS3 and 360 versions are the "real" versions and the PS2 and Wii versions are garbage. Rent it again on PS3 or 360 and give it a go. It's a great game.

@PlasmaBeam44

yeah, I kinda figured it was for the PS3 or 360 I just wanted to warn everyone else about the Wii version. I'm sure the PS3 or 360 version is a lot better, in fact I'm sure Big Rigs over the road racing is more entertaining than the wii version of Wolverine.
