Sorry this is so late. But once again, I could barely watch since it was basically focused mostly on one person.
This week's episode of Survivor: Samoa was . . . a huge disappointment. And one I'm not gonna recap. I'm sorry, but I'm just . . . not. This season's been going down the tubes fast ever since the editors and producers chose to make it The Russell Hantz Show. Hell, the show's been falling since at least Cook Islands with all the recruits being cast instead of deserving fans. So for the first time since I started watching this show, I'll be checking out. Yes. That's right. Checking out of a season of Survivor.
I'll still keep myself up to date as to the reward wins, immunity wins, and, most importantly, the vote-offs. And yeah, I'll keep track of the final winner, too. But other than that, this season's taken such a bad turn, I don't think even the most surprising of turnarounds in strategy will save it. Especially since it's so obvious that Foa Foa getting the bulk of the focus (via editing) means that they'll somehow get the upper hand come the merge, and that the winner will come from their tribe.
So I'll just be brief this week and all following weeks. At Foa Foa, Russell H. did more self-back-patting, this time for Ashley's boot, which he had nothing to do with at all. The whole tribe had wanted her out. Liz was firmly on his radar now for knowing about him having the hidden Immunity Idol. At Galu, Russell S. started feeling weak. The two tribes learned that both of their tribes would be going to Tribal Council after a challenge. During said challenge, Russell S. collapsed and made several people -- including Probst himself -- think he was dead. He was simply overly dehydrated, but it was so severe, he was removed from the game via medical evacuation. Because of that, neither tribe would go to Tribal Council. That's the gist of it.
Thirteen castaways remain. Who'll be voted out next week? We'll see then!
