Yes, I finally finished it! I got this game in like mid-March but could not get into it. So I picked it up agian at the beginning of the month and until two weeks ago could not get enough of it (but then I got REALLY busy with a bunch of other crap). So today I picked up where I left off and beat the living **** out of Liquid and finished the game.

All I really have to say is ... it was AMAZING, now I really want to play MGS2, MGS3, and eventually MGS4. Just need the consoles (which might take a while since I don't have a job at the moment and am not too great with money). Anyway, now that I am done with that I can start playing Tales of Symphonia which I picked up three weeks ago, but have not had a chance to start yet, hopefully it holds me for a while.

Not much else to say ... school starts up officially on Tuesday, but there are no cIasses until next week. Ya, so how's everyone else doing

Congrats on finishing your game! MGS is one of my favorite games.

I've always thought about picking up MGS:TS, but the used $35 price tag always tells me otherwise. I have the original PS version, but it seems so insanely blurry to me! I used to play the PS when it came out, but I'm so used to clean visuals that I don't have much interest in playing through it's blurriness at the moment. Maybe eventually eh? ToS is a fun RPG. I've had it for a long while now, but have not finished it.

I too start school on Tuesday...meh . Oh well, at least I won't have to work nearly as much which is a decent trade off i suppose. However, I won't have as much money for new releases in the coming months. I'm just gonna have to save some for Force Unleashed, Dead Space, and Left 4 Dead. Those are 3 games I must have!

Damn ... my school pulled a fast one and we actually have cIasses wed-fri I wish they didn't change the schedule for my last year.

And Cry0Tek, MGSTS was really worth the $20 I spent on it, if you can find it around that price I suggest picking it up.

MGS was amazing I believe I played it 3 more times after I completed it.

I was about to say we have class this week, but you already caught it. I think Erik is on vacation this week, so he might miss it, thinking that school starts next week like usual. The even more hilarious thing is that most of the staff at our school have no Idea who decided to do this. Not to point any fingers, but my guess is Henderson.

Ah, another newcomer to the wonderful world of Metal Gear. Glad to hear you loved it. If you own a PS2 or plan to buy a backward-compatible PS3, I would highly recommend Metal Gear Solid: The Essentials, which came out on PS2 shortly before MGS4 hit stores. It contains the original PS1 MGS, MGS2 Substance and MGS3 Subsistence and it's only 30 bucks.

I'm assuming that you have at least played Tales of Symphonia by now. How do you like it ?

^ Tales of Symphonia was pretty good ... I stopped playing it a while ago because a boss had completely floored me, I should pick it up again soon

Cool. Are you going to check out Tales of Symphonia 2 ? I hear it's pretty good, although not as great as the first one.

Congratulations. That game is great. I've played parts of it with my older brother before he moved out, but I watched him beat the whole things. It's definitely on my list. Heh, I know this blog was a long time ago but still, congrats!

Pretty much Metal Gear Solid is the best freaking series I have ever played in my life! (Thanks heavens for friends because if it weren't for them I wouldn't have played any of the games because I don't have any money to buy my own systems... boo hoo...) GO MGS!!

MGS4 is a game you'll be longing to play trust me. It was an epic game. So I'd be beating those games quick to play MGS4.
