Air Guitar... That you can actually hear!

Have you found yourself playing the air guitar and wished you actually could produce noise by doing that? Well, now you can!

CSIRO, the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation, has created an air guiter which makes noise. It has sensors which are located on both of your elbows and wirelessly transmits your movements to a computer to output sound according to your motion.

The plan for this technology besides an air guitar is for use in developing applications for the health and sporting areas such as physiotherapy devices which will track postures and exercises. The air guitar is simply a way to try out the new technology in a fun manor and hey, maybe they'll make a couple extra dollars to help fund it I wonder how much this 'air guitar' will cost.
