So.. after summer break, I am back.. it has been quite busy and really quickly passing summer.. not much done.. but some great LARPs where I attended and some great other times too..

On tv matters.. I discovered Dexter.. I have only seen first season yet but I liked it. Trying to "force" myself to second one but I have such a good memory of first season and I am afraid they can only turn worse.. or maybe not..

Also I have watched show named "Defing Gravity". I think I am just too desperate for (new) sci-fi shows. I like the sci-fi part of it, for sure.. but it has too much soap... and too much relationship things for my liking.. but it is getting better.. the thing I am afraid is, that they are not going to give the show a change.

And I think on June or so.. after school finished, my little sister (who got me to watching Dexter), also got me to watch "True Blood". I could not bare the language and maybe the "silliness" when I first tried when it came out.. but she just "forced" me to watch it and to be honest, I enjoyed it this time much more and after time I managed to get over hearing those strong language words so often.. and that "silliness" was what made it so special..

On new shows coming this fall.. (I have list in my calendar to remember when something comes back or premiers). I have plans to watch "Vampire Diaries".. mm.. probably because it has vampires but if it is going to be soap and youth relationship drama.. I think I have better things to do.

The other new show, for sure, what I will be watching is Trauma.. I need something to fill whole left with ER and that one has most hope. I will tune in for Mercy premiere too but I think it is not what I would like to watch.. but who knows.

Thanks to TV.com I realized Julianna Margulies ishaving new show.. quite similar for that poor quickly ended "Cantebury's Law".. for sure, I will watch "Good Wife" and hope this one survives longer..

Sci-fi channel (sorry I cannot bare writing Sy-fy or how it should be written now) has new Stargate coming and despite all the talk and drama going around it.. I most say, I am eager to see it

And ofcourse V. Loved the old one when I was kid. Cannot bare to watch it again when I was older.. but remake.. maybe they will finally come up with show and remake that is ok..

Anyway.. I'm back.. Trying to comment on your blogs now on much much more often.. any shows you are exited about?

I don't know most of the series you've mentioned, but I agree with the feelings. My friends are trying to make me watch "True Blood", maybe I'll let them. And "V" - I so loved the old one, I'm afraid what they're going to do with it. I'll tell you if I find a new show to watch!

I watched like the first 5 episodes of Defying Gravity, and its ok. I plan to continue watching but I have just gotten behind because its not a show that really draws you back. I have to make the effort to sit and watch it. I agree there is too much drama, but like you said, there isnt much else for sci-fi right now. Most ppl think S2 of Dexter is as good or better than S1, so you shouldnt be disappointed. I personally liked it the least. I like them 1,3,2. But that's just me. I wasnt planning to watch Vampire Diaries cuz it looks like too much of a teen show, but maybe if I hear some good reviews I will check it out. I am sort of excited and sort of worried about Stargate Universe at the same time. I'll just have to wait and see. V looks awesome. I never saw the original so I am excited. It will be all new for me. I never heard of Mercy or Trauma.

Clemontine: totally agree: Defying Gravity isn't show that nails you to screen or makes you eagerly wait next episode. I usually let couple of episodes to come (ala 2) and then watch..

And thanks for the opinion of Dexter..

Seems like quite a few of us here discovered Dexter over the summer. Season 2 is way better than one. Season two is actually some of the best television I've ever seen True Blood is awesome as well. I'll be watching VD as well and Mercy. V is the new show I'm the most excited about, the cast looks fantastic! Yay for being back

All good things come to a quick end, right? I have heard that both Dexter and True Blood are awesome shows, most of my friends here are really much into them. I am not much into sci-fy but I plan on checking out V as well. I liked the original miniseries and the promo looks good, so we'll see. I don't really watch much tv so other than that, excited about CSI:NY coming back. Hugs

I'm interested in the new Stargate series as well. What about The West Wing? Have you reached the end of Season 5 or 6? The last three seasons are inferior to the first four but I'd like to know what you think of them.
