It was moving. I never planned to watch it - it was just there on the tv and it caught me on the first moment. But I think i missed at least half of it but still- the emotional effect it had. the depth of the story, the feelings.. and the ending....

This movie has a beautiful way to introduce us how the stargate was found. I never saw it before the serie as local tv had no logic, they aired two seasons of SG-1, then stop and never continued but little later showed the film. Looking it later...

This movie has a beautiful way to introduce us how the stargate was found. I never saw it before the serie as local tv had no logic, they aired two seasons of SG-1, then stop and never continued but little later showed the film. Looking it later than some season of serie - it looks somehow weird as we have used to the new cast but it has it's own magic - the story and the excitement, there is something on the movie was it is not later in the tv show but that is not bad. They two are different things and when take them that way - then this film is really fantastic - all the different universe, complicated and catching characters, mysteries. I liked it

This movie.. I really needed some days after watching it and not write review shortly after as I felt there is not much after that movie I could say - the way so hard and terrible events where portrayed on so realistic, but also unique and different manner as Greengrass mostly does, it is unforgettable. The way the story was shown, the way every little action lead to another until to the end - to those two fatal minutes. First it made me so angry - watching this film, then it made me sad... but the real beauty of this film is - the quality, the emotional affect it will have, the way it will make you think and the way the events where shows so real like without major drifts from original events.
A movie worth to watch!

A different but special kind of films. If you have loved "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon", "Hero" and "House of flying Daggers" then this films goes to the same category with them for the stressed visual look, too big...

A different but special kind of films. If you have loved "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon", "Hero" and "House of flying Daggers" then this films goes to the same category with them for the stressed visual look, too big love story and gorgeous costumes, gravity ignoring choreography. But all those with stunning views and superb music and tearjerking plot... they make it somehow different and special. The emotion this movie gives and the visual beauty the look of the movie offers - it is incredible. Even if I said many things on the movie are too stressed then that does not bother - that makes it even more special and the computer effects some complained about - if look about it as fantasy not trying so much find a reality there, it is perfect.

I never planed to watch this movie. It was aired in the middle of the night but I had no sleep and after ER I just couldn't fell in sleep - so.. I decided to watch a little. After 10 minutes, I could not get my eyes of.
The story itself is very fascinating, and the way it is presented is just superb. The way the emotional, ethical dilemmas line this movie from the start. I feel like I have no words. It was something super, something I have not experienced many times. When it ended I was like - I want to see it one more time. I want to get all those thoughts and ideas again. I want to struggle with the moral decision of treacherous. I want to get deep and try to understand why.
I myself have always felt some kind of sympathize for nations who not have their freedom yet. This is a great story how things should have gone but how one man can change so much. And all he wanted to do, was to help his people, in his way.
Somehow, this dilemma was very similar to "Michael Collins" and I think that those two movies are one of the best I have seen.
