ELL, gang, today is the day of the Penn State vs. Notre Dame college football game, airing at 3:30pm EST on NBC I believe. So, for PSUIrishDave, who would I be rooting for? I might be like Brady Quinn's sister, who attended the Fiesta Bowl this year wearing a composite Notre Dame-Ohio State jersey, because although her brother is the star quarterback for the Irish, her boyfriend is the star defensive tackle for Ohio State! Imagine that.

All things considered, it's going to be a gridiron combat of apocalyptic proportion today! Well, not really. I'm rooting for the Irish though.

Umm... football... hm... All I can say is "have fun" and I hope whatever team you're rooting for will win

Ugh....ANOTHER college football lover. You and my husband should get together and watch some games. I swear that's all that's on when he's home on the weekends. Our DVR wasn't meant to record GAMES for Pete's sake!! Sheesh!!

As far as who to root for, go with the one most likely to win!

Hmmm ... I'm not a big Football fan, but ... good luck to ... erm ... both teams then?

I bid good luck to both teams!

I barely understand what you're saying (it's sport so it would be shocking if I did ).

So good luck to everyone!

well if you go indepth in the score if it wasnt for the second quarter we would ove only lost by 7 points. Plus I went to South Bend and was at the game. So it really sucked for me. LOL.

Morelli wasnt playing smart and from where I sat he was lobbing the long balls so it gave Notre Dame's Defense a chance to catch up to it and go intercept it. That is what it looked like from where I sat.

Oh well we got Youngstown next week that should be a big help.

Yeah, HOPEFULLY, tvfanatic. Now I can officially put back on my blue-and-white, and say, "Stomp the Reds!" The Ohio State match is going to be a good and tough one. OSU is a tough team. As for Morelli, it looks like you're right. Quinn had enough of the same troubles in the first quarter too, though. Actually, for a while there I was getting concerned that his game was really slipping below the point of being considered for the Heismann.

So, you were there at the game!! I SOOO wanted to be there! But since I'm here in State College, that was going to be very tough for me. Next year when ND comes here, I'm going to BE THERE, come hell or high water! I think I asked you at one point, but not sure... Where do you live??

Hello Rusty, Well, if it makes you feel any better, college football is the only sport I really watch on television. After that, I'm satisfied with reading it all in the papers. Plus, there's no recording games going on here! If I'm not watching it live, then I'm not watching it. It's done and over, I can see highlights on the news in sports. But I think that if I had a wife, I'd rather be spending the time with her anyhow.

I live in the heart of our enemies... The Wolverines. Let's go Lions!!!

You know if we have one turnover and dont get a turnover we either will lose nigtime or will somehow inch our way passed OSU. I mean Notre Dame mad Morelli look Silly in the first half. TOny Hunt looked really good though he never ran that good before atleast that I have seen.

Wait a minute... you live in Ann Arbor?! I didn't know that. I've been there before; it's a really nice town, at least from what I remember. In fact, UofM is about the 3rd team I'd root foor, after Notre Dame and Penn State. So, what draws you to be a Lions fan?

I would understand it if it was soccer. Footbal here is not as popular as there, ya know?
