HELLO everybody! I can't believe it's been about a week since I've written anything. The reason, however, is because I've been really preoccupied with lots of different things. I've found that my obsessive tendencies are showing themselves in true form -- while I should be putting my effort now on things that need to be done now, I instead have a one-track mind in working with things that need not be dealt with for another year. Simply put, I'm having major problems putting my priorities in place. The thing which makes this easy for me to do is that those future tasks are a lot more sweet to me than the boring things that are happening now. I've been really thinking a lot about moving back to Allentown, which will not happen until next June at the earliest. I just tend to get so stuck on that thought pattern that it's impossible to pry me off from them. I experience problems in that even little chores like laundry get pushed to the backburner, let alone big things like going to Church and journaling in blogs and commenting. It's really hard for me to just switch gears back to the way it was before, though. My usual way of solving a problem like this is to basically shut myself down for a day or so and "reboot" myself, basically. I just might have to do that for the sake of other important things like getting back to Church.

In other, more personal areas, a lot of people in my group therapy place think it's interesting that I use this site to do my journaling online. Most people there never heard the word "blog" before. They all have heard of, and even implement, journaling, in their lives. I mentioned that I can use this as a vehicle for letting off steam in a constructive way, and they really thought that was interesting. It's good as long as I'm trying to process and perhaps resolve some feelings of mine. Anyway, that's the story of my recent times. Thanks for reading! I promise I'll get back to my usual blopping regimen.

you'd be amazed what people don't know about stuff us CNETers take for granted. This guy Seanbaby, who has a hilarious website (my favorite part is his reviews of old Hostess ads from '70s/'80s comic books), got interviewed as a part of of CNBC's 'things people actually get paid to do' series for his writing for a videogame magazine. The interviewer commented along the lines of "wow, there's actually a magazine for videogamers" And he looked at her like she was an idiot and replied, "yeah, there's like 30 of them."
