Kratos Out of the Picture! :(

He looks better than ever! (God of War III)

Curse you Mario :@...Nah im kidding, congratz! Its not a shocker, I predicted that he would win the whole competition!! (which he will...) Kratos has reached the top 8, but to any of you who are pretty sad that he didn't continue,,, DONT!

If we look at the history of all the game heroes:

Mario- Created:1981! (appeared first in Donkey Kong) currently to this date has appeared in 15 games in total (including galaxy 2, and new super mario bros wii)

Link- Created:1986! (appeared first in Legend of Zelda)currently to this date has appeared in 15 games in total (including spirit tracks)

Duke Nukem- Created1991! (appeared first in Duke Nukem)currently to this date has appeared in 14 games in total

Ryu – Created 1987! (appeared first in Street Fighter) currently to this date has appeared in 8 games in total (excluding the super street series)

Gordon Freeman – Created 1998! (appeared first in Half-Life) currently to this date has appeard in 6 games (including the expansion packs, and the episodes&hellip

Samus Aran – Created 1986! (appeared first in Metroid Prime) currently to this date has appeared in 10 games in total (including Other M)

Mega Man – Created 1987! (appeared first in Mega Man) currently to this date has appeared in too many games, too confusing!!! Lol… no seriously I think he has appeared in over 20 games :S)

And finally…

Kratos – Created 2005!!!! (appeared first in God of War) currently to this date has appeared in 5 games!! (including God of War III and excluding collection&hellip

Kratos is not only the latest character out of the list; he's the only one who has actually been created in the 21st CENTURY!!! Beating characters like Cloud (which I personally think the best RPG game hero) and Sam Fisher (SPLINTER CELL, no need to say more) This just proves how of a great character Kratos is, he so popular that he is able to be in the top 10 game characters of all time (at least, that's what the GS users say) so according to GS, Kratos is "The Greatest Latest Game Hero of All time"

But then again, I really don't agree with this top 8, to me my top 5 are:

1-Solid Snake

2- Master Chief (watch the below video, and you will love master chief )

3- Mario

4- Kratos

5- Link

Hope you agree with me whats ur top 5?

@PSFreak1, Kratos was a shame anyway. But you got a strong argument there, many heroes in the list are older and more popular, while others have been created recently and besides of hype have little of value to oldschool gamers.

Regardless of all of this, I, too, wished Kratos and MC to make it.

@luc11044, intelligent people always grip all possibilities to shut up ignorant fanboys, hence this overattention to ATGH.

Yeah this whole all time best thing has been totally messed up. My favorites are Snake, Dante, Sonic, Link and Cloud.

Just for the record I excluded the smash bros series... 15 games, are the games that were created with mario as the main character!

Yeah, I wish Kratos had made it too. He's an awesome character (though not technically a hero, but that's another thing). I'm really looking forward to God of War 3.

@ss4brolyupth - sure the most popular, but not the best! as a hero, he really doesn't do much... a plumber that jumps, whats next? a mechanic that slides!

I honestly never liked mario or any of nintendo games, mostly because i like more violent games, i have PS1,2 xbox and 360, kratos is a BA character but he wouldnt really make #1 because he isnt a hero, my #1 would be crash bandicoot
