What can be said than hasn't been said about the Playstation?It's the 3rd greatest selling Video Game console of all-time.It's behind the PS2 it's sucessor and Nintendo's Game Boy.Orginaliy the console was supposed to be a CD add-on for the Super Nintendo back in 92'.However the deal was canceled by Nintendo because Sony wanted the rights to Nintendo's famous mascots like Mario and Link.But Sony still had the CD attachement so they made a new compact CD consolecalled the Playstation and the rest as they say is history.The Playstation had excellent games and it was truley the first sucessful CD based console.Whatever gaming genre you were into the Playstation had some games you had to check out.Like for Platformers you had to check out Crash Bandicoot,Croc,Spyro and Ape Escape.The Playstaion also made RPG's popular in theUSAas well.With Final Fantasy Vii the greatest selling RPG of all time and my favorites Chrono Cross and Grandia.It also had some great Survial Horror games.Like Resident Evil,Silent Hill and Parasite Eve.Very scary games.Also Parappa the Rapper a great musicalrythem gameand Tony Hawk's Pro Skater my favorite Skatebording game of all time.Overall the Playstation is a great console I know most of you already own this console.But I just felt sharing my refections to the console.

The Nintendo Gamecube was very underatted and did not sell as well when compared to the Xbox and PS2.However that still doesen't mean their aren't any good games.The Gamecube had quite alot of great games for it's time.The Gamecube also had 4 player right out of the box.When the PS2 only had 2.Since you had to buy a multitap for 4.So it was great for multiplayer party games like Super Smash Bros Melee and Mario Kartouble Dash!!But their were also alot of great Single player games.Like Metroid Prime which did a great job of bring the Metroid series to 3D.Zelda:Wind Waker which some people didn't like for it's cartoon likegraphic ****ut they can just Shut up.Wind Waker is just all the other Zelda games but you can sail in a boat and Hyrule is flooded.Also Mario Sunshine is great as well.I wrote a review on it so check it out.Overall Gamecube is great.If you have a Wiiyou should defentliy buy some games for it because the Wii is backwards compatable with Gamecube games.I highl reccomend it and you should check out some of the games for it.They are pretty awesome.

What better way to start of this countdown with the Atari 2600.A ****c console that made Video Games popular today.By adding cartridges to change your games,The first console to have some arcade ports,Like Nintendo's Donkey Kong and Taito's Space Invaders.While the graphics were primative compared to the ColecoVision and Intellavisionthe games were more fun and had better control.However the thing that killed the 2600 were one ofthe 2 worst games of all time.The Pac-Man port and E.T.Plus of a bunch of other garbage that delevopers with no talent were putting out which caused the Video Game crash of 1983.However the 2600 will always be remeberd and we can't forget what it did for Video Games.
