It's been a while since my last blog entry, but I have been busy working on a screenplay for a Mophin Power Rangers movie and getting pumped up to see Halloween on August 31. I am a huge fan fo the John Carpenter original, and I can't wait to finally see Rob Zombie's treatment.
As you know, the original starred Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode, and spawned a whole new subgenre of horror -- the slasher movie. In fact, Jason, et al, owe everything to Michael Myers.
Rob has been busy putting the final final touches on the film and promoting it like crazy at conventions and radio shows. Soon, we'll see TV spots. The trailer has been seen (and even parodied and recut) by just about everybody, so we're talking about a potential blockbuster.
So be sure to see the film on August 31 in theaters all across America. And, if possible, see it dressed as Michael.
