Sony, Sony, Sony
For many years this mega corporation (I use the word mega to mean large not good) has been ruining my life with thier consoles and games. I mean specifically the PSP, I bought one of these consoles in 2005 when it was first released and have upgraded to a new one with each new version. I also bought it in 2005 in the belief that they were going to release Gran Turismo by years end, it is now 4 years later and they are only getting around to releasing it now, also it was said that it would be a complete port of GT4 off the PS2 but no its not........ This is the usual way Sony and its affiliates have treated me over the years. Now they're releasing the PSP Go and I would like to upgrade to the "Go" but seeing as I have about 40 UMD games already I'd need some type of incentive to upgrade say like a UMD conversion program. Alas Sony with all thier might and clout as a giant corporation can't seem to do this so they come up with some garbage incentives programme where you can download 3 games from a list of 17 titles which I own most of them already and the ones I don't have I don't want or I'd have bought them already. I'm just happy I'm not American because they don't even get this incentive program which seems to me that Sony don't care about a market as large as the American market.
Also this is the main reason why I bought an XBOX360 and can't bring myself to buying the new PS3 slim.
Please Sony get your act together!!!!!!!!!
As the final flap is closed down and taped over I cannot help but reminisce of all the good times we had (hazey dream sequence time) those marathon GT4 sessions, crazy Street Fighter championships and all the good things the PS2 had.
It was just time to retire her I keep telling myself but its always like this when i put a console out to stud. Now days I have all my old computers and consoles boxed and stored away for safe keeping this is not so they can appreciate and I'll get money for them someday its cos I want to keep them and in 10 years I'll open them and get all retro with them I have an Atari 2600 minus the controllers which hopefully I'll pick up someday and a Commodore 64 which is probably the best computer ever IMO. I had 2 Sega Game Gears which my mother gave away without telling me (thanks mom) I've got the PS1, Game Boy Advance XP and a Micro all bundled away for the future.
So even though its sad to decommission my consoles it also leaves room for the next piece of hardware im my arsenal of gaming fun.
Thanks for reading my moan I appreciate your sympathy.
Well I boughtStarfox Command on Tuesday only got to play for a while but i really liked it I especially liked the controls, I'm totally loving the stylus control thats becoming prevalent in games now like Brothers in Arms except on Starfox the-stylus controlis farsuperior Iactually like the strategy bit of the game its not as fun as the actual shooting part but it adds a nice depth to the game. Anyway i gotta go now cos i have to pack for holidays with the Fiance she's making me go so no gaming for a week for me...
