Wonder no longer, because the 51st Grammy Awards were on tonight!
An award satue! Aww, it's just a Grammy...
The Grammys are the closest thing we have to proving the existance of alternate dimensions. Where else could you possibly hope to, much less actually see Coldplay win the award for "Best Rock Album" over Radiohead roughly an hour before Radiohead -- after being introduced by Chris Martin's better half Gwenyth Paltrow, no less -- performs "15 Step" with the goddamn USC marching band?
What's even worse is that this year had potential. Radiohead were nominated for a small army's worth of awards. MIA had a couple of nominations (and could have potentially given birth on national TV!). Hell even No Age were up for one (even if it was only for best packaging). Sure we already knew Robert Plant and Allison Krauss would (and did) win every single award, but there was a chance, wasn't there? (For the record, no there wasn't.)
