Triangle(Beth's POV)
I see the way you look at her
With such intensity, longing
Passion just below the surface
Much the way it seems I look at you
I thought you wanted me also
But now it seems to be a dream
As she has returned to your life
And made her presence known to you
How can I compare with raw sex
As it exudes from her very being
In her movements and in her speech
I see your dark blue eyes follow her
They gaze into her deep brown depths
Her eyes that have secrets and know
So much like your eyes, can it be
Can she be truly who you think
I thought once you returned my feelings
Even though you pushed me away
I thought you had my life in mind
That you wanted to preserve me
But I could've been wrong
Perhaps you were always waiting
Waiting for her to return to you
I cannot know these answers
And you will never volunteer them
So I sit with all these questions
And wonder if I imagined that kiss
The level of attraction and heat
That we shared between us
The connection we have or had
Is it gone because of her
I wonder

She (Mick's POV)
She is everything
I want
And yet everything
I can never have
She is
alive
She is
human
And I respect
that too much
And so
she is everything
I want
And yet everything
I can never have

Beth (Mick's POV)
I live in the shadows
She is the light in life
And I long to join her
But this can never be
As I am the darkness
And the light can't meet the dark
It will overtake the day
And then she too will be night
We would be dark together
But I couldn't live with that
So I stay along the shadows
Quietly longing
And keeping distance
Hoping to keep her safe
From myself and from others
Always watching her
But never crossing the line
Wanting but never having
