Its been a long time since between posts and visist for me, but like a faithful cold nosed friend, Gamespot is always there for me, jumping up and down and super excited about all things gamey. And welcomes me back without hesitation.
Even though i've been away i have still of coarse been keeping up as best i can with the latest game news and reviews. Ocasinally i would sneak online at work for 10 minutes here and there to read a review or get a little help with a certain part of a game i might be stuck with. I know there is so much more to this site i stll haven't discovered, I'm only just beginning to understand just how big that unexplored part really is.
So just a quick post to say gamespot rocks!
Hi guys!
As you can probably tell this is my first post on my gamespot blog. I've been a member since last year and I visit the site at least once or twice a week, I think this site is really great with everything it offers so I decided to try and get into it a bit more!
About me: I'm currently 26 years old, female living in melbourne with my bf. He's a gamer too but no where near my obsessiveness about it. I work full time too so its hard to get all the gaming time in that I would like, but I manage okay. My favorite types of games are rpg's. Final Fantasy is the series I hold in the highest esteem, and FF8 was my first introduction to the series, Squall and Riona hooked me right in and I've never looked back.
Other games I enjoy are Strategies like Civilzation, Star Craft and City Builders. I also admit to totally enjoying silly games like DOA extreme 1 and 2, even though I'm not exactly the target demographic for those games, I get the joke and I enjoy them a lot. Another series I enjoy are the Tenchu games. Being a stealthy killer can be wicked fun.
Generally I give most games ago and all styles in any genres can be really good if they are made well.
Right now I am waiting with baited breath for the new final fantasy to come out in Australia. It sucks having to wait months and months after its been released everywhere else.
Anyway, thats my first post, nothing steller but a brief introduction of myself and hopefully the first of many.
Bye!
