Next week, I will make a decision on what I'll be doing with my Editor status. I'm leaning towards giving the Editor status to the next person in line for it. The reason -- I haven't really had the time to contribute, and I want to focus on other things. I have also been rather inactive in the TV.com community. I also don't know if I'm going to be posting here much longer. I may not entirely leave the community, but my activity will be limited. For those that want to get in touch with me outside of this place, you can catch me via LJ and MySpace.

For those that still read ORD's entries, I just want to say I apologize for being away from this place for too long. Too much crap has been going on. I want to give you another head's up, because I may be absent for a little while longer. The family is going to be moving in another part of our town pretty soon. I think we're going to start moving after this weekend. That would mean that I could be offline for a while, or be forced to use dial-up until DSL service is restored.

I'm still at my current workplace. Things have been rough lately. I certainly hope that I can get that CA job soon. There are two potential spots that I'm in contention for, one was the one I mentioned on my last post, but I haven't heard anything new in a few weeks. As for the other (the one I've been trying to get since late June), several accounts were added, and as of late last week, only a few more required for me to be hired. I'm certainly not going to give up. I've never been this close -- ever!

I hope you folks are doing all right. I'm kinda down, but not out. Anyway, Auf Wiedersehen!!

Hey, gang. I've been absent from blogging lately. I do apologize for that and for not responding to other blogs. What's new? Well, it's been a frustrating two weeks for the most part. I don't look forward to the move to another neighborhood in town (no Internet for at least 1-2 weeks, from what I've read, and it could pause my job searching). Also, the workplace is still crazy. We have a new manager, and I'm not exactly confident in the person.

There is some light, though. I did see two new employment opportunities on my email box (those you that aren't yet posted on Monster or any other place) -- one position is located in PA (which isn't where I'm looking for work), and the other is in CA (it's a two-week project, however). Still, things may be brightening up. Also, a friend from CA wants me to submit a resume to him for a position (they seriously need someone). Slowly but surely, it looks like a turnaround is in progress.

I learned about Barry Bonds at around the time I started watching Chicago Cubs baseball, as part of the opposing Pittsburgh Pirates. I always thought, for a while, that Bond was a brilliant and terrific athlete. At some point after Bonds left...

It all began when I had received a Super Nintendo (NES) videogame, starring Ryne Sandberg. It was a fun game, despite the fact that none of the players in it were professional athletes. Then, I watched (in the 1990s) Chicago Cubs baseball on...

Candi Milo's beginning as a voice-over artist was meant to be. Her interest sparked from the movie, "Cool World." Milo's debut on animated television was from "Tiny Toon Adventures" as Sweetie Pie. That was the first voice that I can recall Milo...

There's no doubt that Mr. Steven Jay Blum (may also be known as David Lucas or Daniel Andrews) is one of most talented American voice-over actors of the end of the 1990s and into the 21st century. The first time I've heard Blum's voice was from...

I think most people recognized Michael Moore as being the man who criticized President George W. Bush at the Academy Awards (the Oscars). Looking at the guy, Mr. Moore is definitely a scary-looking figure to look at. I even saw a man at the...

OneRadicalDude must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could OneRadicalDude possibly have for not rating a single film?
