Justin Whalin is most widely known for his role as Jimmy Olsen from Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman from 1994-1997. He had to prove critics wrong when Justin took over the part of Jimmy from Michael Landes in seasons 2 to 4. Many fans of the show were annoyed and put off when Justin was replaced by Michael, however, as time progressed, originally put-off fans became used to Justin and appreciated him in the role of Jimmy Olsen.
Justin played Jimmy with a sense of youth, humour and naivety. One particularly memorable moment I remember his great acting ability from in Lois & Clark, was in a scene where he was hypnotised and was made to think that he was in high school and had just returned from the summer holidays. He said hello to his classmates and then was told by the magician that he was naked. This scene was hilarious and it was a show case for Justin's talant. He plays this so well that it's almost hard to imagine that he was just acting and wasn't in a trance. He was a real member of the Daily Planet for me and will go down in history as Jimmy Olsen.

John Shea starred as Lex Luthor in the first season of Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, which was 1993-1994. He also appeared later on in the show as a returning baddie, but was in a lot of the first season episodes, being the rival of Clark Kent, fighting for the attention of the gorgeous Lois Lane. Lex wins Lois' affection (well, Superman got there first!) and during a very short dating process, Lex proposes and Lois accepts! However, Lois is oblivious to Lex's nastiness but, as they are standing at the altar, the police storm in and try to arrest Lex, but Lex jumps from his penthouse and falls to his death.
John Shea is the Lex I know from my childhood and I think his portrail of an evil Lex is captured prefectly. It's almost difficult to think that he's really not like that in real life! He was a true rival and enemy of Clark/Superman. I don't know him from any other shows apart from Lois & Clark, but I almost don't want to because he was so great as Lex. A truly talented and versatile actor who I admire. Also, he's handsome! Which always helps...

Teri Hatcher has played a multitude of roles in different TV shows and movies during her careers. Some more well known than others. Her main successes were as Lois Lane in Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman and as Susan Mayer in Desperate Housewives.
She has said in interviews that she loved playing Lois Lane and will always be grateful to her for really making Teri Hatcher's career as before this, she was...well not as famous. However, she says (or it can be inferred) that she prefers playing Susan Mayer. It has brought her great success and the role of a single mother comes very naturally as she is in fact a single mum to daughter Emerson Rose, born in 1997. To me, she will always be Lois Lane, no matter how critically acclaimed she is from Desperate Housewives (and I know she is!), but her Lois is the best and will be the best forever. I suppose it helps when Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman is your favourite show...
I would have given her 10 for playing Lois Lane and probably a 10 for Desperate Housewives, even though I don't watch it, but just because she prefers playing Susan to Lois. She is and will always be superb and a very talented actress with perfect comedy timing.

He is the best Superman/Clark Kent and shame he hasn't really got the same starring role in any other show since. He deserves all the credit and as well as being really hot, he took a lot of stick from the trials to claim custody (or part) for his son Christopher. He loves his son and that's so obvious. Dean Cain is very talented and is a sincere actor capable of being both a good and bad guy! Although I prefer it when he's a good guy - like Superman. He should be an A-list actor for his contributions to the film industry, and I'm so happy that he has his name on a star in Hollywood. (You know, the ones on the pavement..those ones.)
