What the **** is this? Since when are cartoons tearjerkers? I'm sitting in a theater watching a cartoon, wearing large ridiculous-looking 3D glasses... and I get a lump in my throat? My eyes start to water? **** you, Pixar.
So yeah... go see Up, if you haven't already.

By the way, I meant to say that Bambi's mom and Dumbo's mom would like to have a word with you about how cartoons aren't supposed to be tearjerkers... but they can't, because one is DEAD and the other is IN PRISON.

Yeah, but they had it coming. Dumbo's mom went crazy and was justifiably locked up. Bambi's mom was guilty of looking too tasty.

Update: we saw this Friday and were both hugely teared up, especially from the relationship montage near the beginning of the movie. I commented afterward that I was glad the 3-D glasses were big enough for me to be able to wipe my eyes. Quite well done movie, IMO, and surely a shoo-in for Best Animated next Oscar season.
