We are ODST

Hey everyone, I thoughy I'd make a new blog since I haven't done one in awhile. Anyway, I just picked up Halo 3: ODST a few hours ago after watching the video review on here. It looks like a solid game and even though the FireFight mode isn't something completely new, it does look like a ton of fun. I will probably play some FireFight after I finish Dead Space.

Also, I'm usually against trading in games, but since I'm in College and don't have a job, I can't just go out and buy games like I used to. I went into EB Games yesterday and I traded in a bunch of games and picked up Need fo Speed: Shift and Battlefield Bad Company. NFS:S looks pretty sick and I've been wanting a new racing game for a long time. I used to have Battlefield Bad Company for PS3 back when I had a PS3 and loved it, so I figured I'd pick it up for $19.99 CDN.

Furthermore, I couldn't find a new copy of Beautiful Katamari for Xbox 360, which I've been wanting for a long time, so my friend in Calgary found a used copy that it's in pretty good condition so he bought it for me and sent it to my Mom and Step-Dad's house. My girlfriend is coming up to visit me at College for the weekend, so she will be bringing up Beautiful Katamari for me. She also bought me Left4Dead today for Xbox 360 because I can't find a new copy of it around here where I live. In case you guys are wondering why I just wouldn't buy a used copy, I refuse to buy used games. I like the idea of opening up a sealed copy of a game and I take extremely good care of my games and I can't stand the sight of used games that are all scratched up. I don't even buy the "last copy" at EB Games / Gamestop either. If you guys are also wondering why I'm getting a used copy for Beautiful Katamari, it's because my friend bought it for me since he knew I really wanted it and he spent the money to buy it for me (I don't have to pay him back) and he paid for the shipping.

Anyway, I have to go study because I have 3 tests next week. Take care and game on!
