Hey guys, just thought I'd bring up a new idea for my blog. Some of you might think I'm weird when I tell you that I miss some of the old cartoons out there, and I feel bad for the modern cartoons out there plauging kids' minds. What ever happened to the adventures of the Rugrats, or the creativity of the Wild Thornberries? This second grader I know told me that he hates all of the cartoons these days, and that concerns me. Any of you guys remember some of the legendary cartoons out there? I loved so many of them. At least Spongebob is still around, but where the hell are the others? You can't run out of ideas with shows such as the Fairly Odd Parents!
My point is that cartoons were my entire childhood, and now as a sophomore, I can't help but remember some of the cla$sic shows. Here is a list of some of my favorites in no particular order:
Hey Arnold
Fairly Odd Parents
Spongebob
Rugrats
Wild Thornberries
Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball
Pokemon (until Johto ruined it)
Dexter's Lab
Power Puff Girls (come on, you all liked them)
Tenchi in Toyko (anyone remember this one?)
Teen Titans
Doug
Ed, Edd, n' Eddy
---
So yeah there are a bunch I'm forgetting, but I loved cartoons and for quite a time span. I'm not afraid to admit that I continually watched cartoons up until when I turned maybe 13. Now they got rid of all of these great shows and turned Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network into crap. I guess I could always check out Boomerang for some of the shows, but I can't really ever catch any of these shows anymore on T.V. What happened to Toonami? Please tell me they still show that! Or Cartoon Cartoons? I really wouldn't mind seeing these things again for one last time. Cartoons are something I just can't forget. They always gave me a good laugh, and I was always into the shows, as if I were pretty much there. Anyone else wondering where all of these great shows went? Why are the cartoons these day so bad? Damn it! That is all.
Oh and school is a drag.

Well I just log on here this morning to see a completely different website. It looks cool I guess...just way different. But change is good... Honestly, I don't really like this whole new feel. I mean, the home page was pretty sweet, but the profiles are weird. Don't worry, it won't lead my into leaving this site. Anyhoo, I actually have some games to talk about. Yesterday I went out to buy some games because of that awesome trade 2 games and get a new one for 20 bucks deal or whatever. So I got two games with that deal, and another one for 30 bucks. They were.....
Madden 09

Soul Calibur IV

The Orange Box

These three games are all really good, and I spent a lot of time playing them. I spent the most time playing the Orange Box, since it is such an awesome game. I began my campaign in Half Life 2 reaching Chapter 5, started Portal and am on Chapter 4, and played a hell of a lot of Team Fortress 2 Online.
And since I have to go really soon, I'm going to write up some impressions later. Hope you guys are enjoying the new Gamespot (unless my mind is playing tricks one me and it isn't real), and see you around.

yeah, I finally went back to the DMV to take that stupid test. Instead of missing 6 to fail like last time, I only missed 2. Some of the questions on that test were so annoying. Here is an example:
Q: When making a lane change
A) Signal
B) Head check
C) Make the turn without head checking
--
The answer would be B, but that is crap. Wouldn't you think A is right as well? Turns out if you answer with A, you get it wrong. But oh well, I don't care anymore. That test is out of the way and I never have to go back there again...until 6 months. I figure I'd humor you all with my driving experience on the way back home.
So my mom was paranoid the whole time, as I began driving in my local neighborhood. She figured it would be safer for me to drive there, which is funny because neighborhood driving is my weakness. Anyways, I was reluctant to turn a lot better than I did back in Driver's Ed. I went slowly (well...in most drivers' logic, this means I was going by the speed limit), and everyone was pissed at me. I was going the right speed, they are just used to not following the rules. I was really mad at them because when they passed me they'd give me some pissed look...so I just smiled back.
Overall I still think driving is overrated, even without some damn instructor barking his ass off at me. I enjoyed it more than before, but it's still just not as good as everyone says it is. It's also not because I have to drive with a parent: I'd rather have company. I don't know, I'm probably going to drive some more later, hopefully soon I can drive my way to EB Games. I'll let you know if I ever start to enjoy it. Well that's my story, so how are you guys?

The Dark Knight
The Dark Knight was my most anticipated movie of this year. Finally, I got to see it, and it doesn't disappoint! This movie is by far the greatest comic book movie ever created! The Dark Knight is nearly perfect in all regards, no lie. Whether it...

You Don't Mess With the Zohan
If I had one word to describe this film, the word interesting comes to mind. It's one of those movies that will make you laugh, but give you nightmares at the same time. Overall, Sandler stars in a decent film, but not anywhere near his cla$$ics...

Introduction: I am not what you consider a "hardcore Simpsons fan", but I have seen a bunch of episodes. The new season is where I lost my interest. The show was getting old and I could tell the series would fall down hill from there on...
