Kim Medcalf is an absolutely fabulous actress, especially in the recent episodes (30th august - 2nd september 2005) of Eastenders.

Kim's performance as Samantha Mitchell in the show is magnificent, recently Eastenders hasn't had the best of luck ratings wise, but this week it's back of top and that's largely todo with Kim.

Portraying the mad, druken and possesed Samantha was something that very few actresses could have pulled off but Kim did making the character belivable and slightly frightening.

With Kim leaving Eastenders in the near future, its clear that she will go on to bigger and brighter things.

In a recent episode of BBC1 daytime soap Doctors, in which Tara plays the daughter of a main character, Tara's talent was really shown.

The episode was 'The Last, Last Straw' in which her character, Claire,'s mother finally admits to her extereme depression. Tara broke my heart throughout the entie episode. her tears seemed 100% genuine.

Tara deserves to get a lot more recognision, and when she's older i think she will be a big name, if she chooses to presue a career in acting.

for two years Diane Murphy shared the role of Tabitha Stephens on Bewitched with her faternal twin sister Erin but it was obvious when it was Diane playing the role.

Diane never seemed at ease in front of the camera. Diane was realeased from Bewitched at the start of series 5.

but Diane did play Tabitha solo in one episode (Samantha Fights City Hall), it was very obvious that it was not Erin playing the role but many didn't even realise it was Erin's sister, the two were so unalike. Elizabeth Montgomery, who played Tabitha's mum Samantha, seemed in this episode to guide Diane more than she ever did Erin.

Diane appeared a couple more times as a guest in Bewitched but she never returned to acting.

Stirling Gallacher is a magnificent actress who should appear on television more often than she does.

She was fabulous in The Office as Jennifer Taylor-Clarke, i found her the funniest thing in the show.

but her greatest role in my eyes is as Dr Georgina 'George' Woodson in bbc1 daytime soap Doctors. her proformance in the recent episode The Anatomy of Marriage had me glued to the television. I felt so much for the character, especially when she lets out that cry at the end of the episode, the pain seemed so real.

Stirling is absolutely fabulous and should be used more often!!!!!!!!

Sarah Manners is an absolutely wonderful actress and a personal favourite of mine especially as the character Bex in Casualty.

Sarah's skill was recently proven in Casualty when her character was raped by her best friend's brother. everything seemed real and i really felt for the character.

This storyline led to Sarah's exit from Casualty but she stayed fabulous to the end, especially in the scene with Matthew Wait who plays Luke where she asks him to come away with her. it was so sweet.

As Bex she said "Never forget me" well its certain that no Casualty fan will ever forget Sarah Manners.

Erin Murphy was just two years old when she first appeared on television as Tabitha Stephens in season 3 of Bewitched. Erin immedietly won the hearts of viwers with a cute face. At first Erin shared the role with her faternal twin sister Diane but it was always obvious which twin was playing the role. During season 4 Diane started to cry whenever she was on set, so they started to use Erin double time.

It was in Season 5 of the show, that Erin proberly took over the role full time, although Diane did appear as Tabitha in one episode 'Samantha Fights City Hall'. Erin began to grow up in front of the viewers.

In Season 6, Erin's character Tabitha gained a baby brother Adam, so in Season 7 Erin got two younger twin co-stars David and Greg Lawrence.

In the final season (8) of Bewitched, Erin proved herself to be a brilliant actress, holding her own beside her adult co-stars Elizabeth Montgomery, Dick Sargent (Dick York until season 6) and Agnes Moorehead. Although she was never given a credit during the opening credits, Erin really was a fully fledged co-star. In the episodes 'TV or Not TV', 'Tabitha's First Day at School' and 'School Days, School Daze' Erin breaks out of the 'I-was-hired-because-I-was-a-cute-child' mold.

Sadly when the show ended Erin stopped acting, hopefully she will one day take it up again.

Laura Sadler was an amazing actress who lit up the screen everytime she appeared.

In Holby City she played unlucky nurse Sandy Harper, this role quickly made Laura a household name. Sandy was one of Holby's most popular character from her first apearence in series 3. When Laura sadly passed away the BBC had the tough decision - kill off Sandy, replace Laura with another actress or just explain why Sandy had gone off. I think the decision of Sandy winning the lottery and going off to Australia was a brilliant one. nobody would have excepted another actress in the role and killing Sandy would have been wrong.

Laura Sadler was a wonderful actress and taken from the world far to soon!
