This time I am going to write about what I have been working on most recently concerning Aniter; time.
First I want to point out that the world of Aniter doesn't adhere to the way the real world functions and is not even a planet, you can view it as another dimension or an afterlife, whichever would be easier to believe.
A year in Aniter is divided in seven seasons.
It doesn't mean that there are seven kinds of seasons but the easiest way to explain is by giving a example sequence.
Year 1
Spring - Summer - Fall - Winter - Fall - Summer - Spring
Year 2
Summer - Fall - Winter - Spring - Winter - Fall - Summer
Year 3
Fall - Winter - Spring - Summer - Spring - Winter - Fall
Year 4
Winter - Spring - Summer - Fall - Summer - Spring - Winter
Three of the traditional seasons comes twice a year while a fourth comes just once, but each year begins with a different season than the previous which means that every year there is a different season that comes just once.
Each season is also further divided in seven "weeks" of nine days each.
All together this makes a year 441 days in length, though I have not yet decided upon the actual length of a day.
Between each year there is also a shorter period of 31 days that is called the Wake ( the name might change ), it is a period in which all the four traditional seasons mix in extremely unpredictable ways.
In extreme cases it might even be that one place experiences summers heat while another place just a few miles from there is struck by a snowstorm.
Quite recently I began to create a complete calendar with every day noted for every year in the world of Aniter, this is meant as a way to map the development of the world down to the tiniest details.
I am currently working hard to complete it so I can make use of it, but I can honestly say that I originally had vastly underestimated the required effort.
As I have recently calculated it, in Microsoft Words for a period of 3500 years, a minimum of 30000 pages is required before I can use it.

It is like as if the gods of Aniter has used the real world as an early sketch or idea for which to base Aniter on, some things may work the same even if the reason for it is different.
The Wake is the very foundation for how they count a year in Aniter since the dangers and uncertainties it present contrasts it extremely with the rest of the year.
The three most celebrated days in Aniter is also connected to it, they being;
The day before the Wake in which people make promises of "conquering" the Wake, the day after the Wake in which people celebrate that it is over.
And finally is the middle-most day of the year which as such is the day farthest away from the Wake.

But great work so far Nimroc. Developing and imagining an entire world is not easy (as we have seen when we tried planning out a game in Reanimation Studios). But keep going Nimroc. I am sure you will make a great writer in the future.
