"Happy Halloween!"

Rafen said holding a black mask against his face, Lucas was sitting on his white couch wearing a white long sleeve and jeans, there was a blanket covering him. Lucas stretched, He was waking up

"Is it Halloween already?"

"That's right and there's nothing more i like to do on Halloween then snatch a trick or treaties bag and eat their candy...wait, i can't do that anymore"

Rafen takes a seat on the couch, removing the mask. Lucas looks at him

"How in the hell did you get a mask in the state your in?"

Rafen looks at the mask

"Paranormal...Ooooowwwww"

Lucas shortly smiled, Lucas and Rafen had a buddy relationship now. It was weird but Lucas didn't question it. He gave his life to Rafen and well he know had to respect his wishes. Lucas threw the blankets off him

"So tell me Mr. Lemark, Why have you taken shelter on the couch?"

Lucas stood up walking into the kitchen and taking a bottle of water from the fridge, he closes it and Rafen is suddenly standing next to him giving Lucas a startle

"You ass!"

Rafen chuckled, Lucas jumped on the counter and took a seat, Rafen leaned against the fridge

"It's honestly more comforting than my bed..."

"Oh...Anyway, Let's do something today, It's Halloween and we're doing something"

Rafen said with an excitement in his voice like a 6 year old child on Halloween

"No, I'm doing something and your following"

"Correct"

Rafen smiled, Lucas took a drink of his water and put the cap back on

"Wanna go get some candy?"

Rafen smiled

--Meanwhile--

Layla sat on her bed wearing her best dress, Jason walks up fixing his tie. Layla was staying with Jason in his apartment, it was large but nothing compared to Lucas'.

"Lulu, Please...You need to at least focus on the party tonight. This was planned weeks before we knew anything about Lucas. Please for me"

Layla looks up at him and smiles, She wore a special dressed, It was orange with little bat that were flying around the dress. It was beautiful and Jason wore a black suit with an orange tie. His hair when back, combed and Layla's hair was rapidly growing. Time on Newt was fast, speeding hair growth rate. Her hair reached the back of her neck. It was curly from the ends. Layla stands up

"I'm fine...It's just...weighting heavy on me"

"Lucas is always a step ahead, you know that...He lives in another world that we're yet to understand. He protects us when we think we don't need it. I know i'm extremely mad at him but...Lucas has a good heart, He's always loved you"

Layla nods

"Your right, thanks"

Layla leans up and kisses Jason's cheek

"You look dashing by the way"

Layla comments him, Jason smiles, almost blushes

"Well nothing can beat your beauty"

Layla smiles, revealing her perfect teeth, her face squeezed up making the cutest smiling face

--Meanwhile--

Jonathan held his sword on his lap, staring down at it

"Is it possible Lucas was telling the truth?"

Jonathan was talking to himself, staring at his sword

"I can't risk that vision coming true"

He stands up and walks up to a large box that looked like ancient warrior chest plate. He places it inside

"I'm sorry"

He closes the lid and locks the lock blot. He takes the key and leaves the room, Nick is sitting on the couch, eating cereal

"Nick, i bet you 10 bucks you can't turn this key into dust"

Nick raises his hand and makes a suddenly fist, Jonathan looks at his hand and the key is a small pile of sand. Jonathan throws the silver sand into the trash

"You going to Layla and Jason's party?"

Nick asked, Jonathan took a bottle of the water and took a sip

"I'm not sure...you think Luke will be there?"

Nick chuckles

"After his 'Your gonna kill me' moment, i highly doubt he'll be there"

-Meanwhile-

"Your going!"

Rafen said, He was in the front seat with a dressed Lucas

"No"

"Your going and that's final!"

"What are you my father?"

Rafen smirked

"If i was your father, i'd smacked you across the head already"

"Your really annoying"

"I'll shut up if you go to that party"

"FINE!...I'll go!"

Rafen smiles, feeling proud of himself.

-That Night-

The city was full of orange lights and children dressed as Gods and demons, some were people they've created. Layla's party had already started. It was full of people both military and just friends they use to know. The doorbell rings, Layla walks to the door and opens it. Jason's apartment was all halloween'd out. she opens the door and standing there is Lucas wearing a nice orange shirt with a black hoodie half zipped up, the hood was up and he wore a black mask that was plain but yet the horror was still seen in the mask.

"Hi...Who are you?"

Layla said, clearly she was happy she had the party, Lucas takes the mask off and gently lets the ends of his mouth gently smile, almost looking fake. Layla's face was kinda shocked but she didnt' show it. She smiled

"I'm glad you came"

"I don't have to come...i just...i'm starting to hate being alone"

Layla chuckles

"Nothing would make me happier if you came inside, plus Jason is on the dance floor and....he's kind scaring everyone"

Lucas chuckles, Rafen leans against the wall, bored already

"I'll be his buzz kill i guess"

Layla steps aside and Lucas walks in. Jason is dancing with people circled around him. He does the running man then drops to the ground and starts doing the worm. He jumps up and starts rolling the dance then suddenly he rolls his fictional dice toward Lucas, Lucas gently waves. Jason drops his hands and the music lowers

"Lucas..."

"Jason"

There was an edge in Jason's voice, almost anger but a friendliness in Lucas. There's an energy felt between them

"Guys..."

Layla stood in the middle, Jason looked at her

"Why is he here?"

"He was invited remember"

"Un-invite him"

Jason says, Lucas holds his smile back

"I'm already here"

"Shut your month before i rip it off"

"And me and you at the park...that was what...dancing, Cause i was seconds away from kill..."

"Woah guys what's going on?"

Jonathan and Nick walked up, Brenden had not shown up yet

"Nothing...Jason was just...bringing the funk"

Lucas says, Jason looks at him, Nick smacks his hand against Jason's chest

"Let's go big guy!"

Layla looks at Lucas

"Can we talk...tomorrow?"

Lucas thinks about it and looks down

"I'm just not there yet Layla...i'm trying but i'm not..there"

"It's not about that...i just...Jason isn't fun to shop with and you were fun. You were honest and he...lies sbout how i look"

Lucas smiles

"Okay, sounds fun"

Layla nods, Lucas suddenly remembers about Rafen

"I'll be right back"

Lucas walks off to the bathroom, He closes the door

"Rafen...Rafen, Where are you?"

There was nothing

Brenden was at his apartment, He was smiling with tears on his face as a body of Abby laid on his table, she was breathing

"It worked...it finally works!"

Rafen stood there, watching him. A smile goes across his face and his plan is finally in affect
