Yeah Substance has some more stuff on it than Snake Eater and plus it's better.

subsistence is the special edition of mgs3 snake eater
and substance is the special edition of mgs2 sons of liberty
and substance is the special edition of mgs2 sons of liberty

And most important Subsistence, has a way better camera then Snake Eater.

Substance has an online feature and other special things that is not available in Snake Eater.

susbsitence has changed camera option, more harder, come tiwh metal gear 1+2, more camo, has online play like portable ops(but sever is down), also with the demo theater.

no real difference it the same game with a online mode, cut scene viewer, uhhhhhh..... boss battle mode so yeah......
