And I didn't have to stand in any line. 
I wasn't really planning on buying it today, but my sister texted me this morning telling she had already gotten it at 7 in the morning. Besides, I was going into the office this morning (yeah, bummer) and the bookstore's just next to the office. And despite all the ugly price-wars going in, and most Book stores boycotting the book here in Malaysia, I actually walked into the Kinokuniya to a huge stack of the books on display. So much for the book shortage.
The only embarrassing thing about it was that you get a free quill. Yes, a 2-foot long quill that is, I assure you, incredibly conspicuous. So I had to walk from the store to the office with a quill sticking out of the bag. The only redeeming quality was that I wasn't the only one.
Anyway, enough of that. Time to dive into the book.

Yeah and I got it from michael, I dont even have the book yet. Well techinally I do, but mail doesnt run at 1: 19 AM. At least not here.

I'm getting it tonight. I don't think there are any shortages over here. You can just go anywhere and pick it up right away. I wouldn't stay in line for something that I know will be there a few hours later without a hassle, heh.
Anyway, I think I'm going to have to read most of it at work.

I was one of those who stood in an unorganized line to get the book. I also got a 3-foot poster of the DH U.S. cover art and a free box that the DH books came in.
