Lexa Doig was born June 8, 1973 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Her birthname was Alexandra L. Doig. Her height is 5' 6" (167 cm). Lexa has an older brother named Ted. Her parents names are Gloria and David. Her mother's origin is the Filipines, and her father has English and Scottish ancestry. She caught the acting bug at the age of nine, after seeing a production of Porgy and Bess.At the age of sixteen, she enrolled in a modelling course and was immediately picked up by an agent. She did commercials and modelling work, before dropping out of high school during her final year to pursue an acting career. She worked on stage productions of Romeo and Juliet and Arsenic and Old Lace while auditioning for film and television roles.Doig landed the role of Tina Backus on the short-lived series CI5: The New Professionals in 1998, and finally burst into the spotlight with her role as the title character on the sci-fi series Andromeda.

Lexa Doig has recently starred in Human Cargo (2004) playing the role of Rachel Sanders, and Jason X (2001) as Rowan. Lexa Doig has also featured in many movies such as The Tracker (2000/I), Andromeda (2000), and No Alibi (2000). Was born on March 13, 1965 in Lisicic, Croatia. "Having grown up in a small blue-collar town" his first career choice was to become either a coach or a physical therapist. After graduating high school he went on to university, where he earned an honours degree in kinesiology.

At the age of 25 he had his own auto refurbishing business, and was doing quite well in life, but was questioning his career choice.
He spent some time in Vancouver and and got sidetracked, although intrigued with the feature film and TV production business, he wasn't certain it was right for him. A year later Steve returned to Vancouver and began taking acting classes. At this time he worked as as a waiter so support himself. He met Ethan Hawke and Stephen Dorff, who offered him extra work in their movies. His first tv role was as a guest star on 21 Jump Street

For fourteen years, Steve Bacic has done everything from tickle people's funny bones to send chills up their spines with his performances on the small and big screens.Steve has appeared in tv productions like The Outer Limits, Stargate SG-1, Smallville and The X-Files. He's also appeared in movies such as The 6th Day, Threshold, X2 and the Hallmark Channel film The Colt.

In the early 90's, Gord was a host of YTV's Video and Arcade Top 10, which was basically a weekly half-hour long commercial for Nintendo video game systems. In the summer of 1992, his future Andromeda co-star, Lexa Doig, was (briefly) also a host for the movie and music segments.

During the early through mid 90's, he was also known to Canadian children (and Sailor Moon watching adult slackers) as "PJ Gord" on YTV, the Canadian equivalent of Nickelodeon. Canadian broadcasters are only allowed to devote about half as much time per hour to commercials during children's programming as American broadcasters are allowed, so, to fill the gaps between programmes during the daytime, YTV has hosts. Gord most often did the Noon to 2:30 pm shift, though he sometimes filled in for other PJs.

Laura Bertram played his girlfriend on Mission Genesis (Deepwater Black) and went on to work on Andromeda with him. His brother, Jaime Woolvett, did an episode of 'Kung Fu' with him. Began acting at age 12, attending the Theatre Aquarius. Was nominated for a Gemini award for his role of a cancer patient in the television movie Princes in Exile. Was a PJ (Program Jockey) on YTV (Youth Television) in Ontario for a few years in the station's formative years. After stint on YTV, he lost a bit of weight before moving on to more important roles in movies and TV.

A native of Mound, Minnesota, Kevin Sorbo stars as Dylan Hunt in the science-fiction/action hour sensation, “Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda,” based upon an idea from the late "Star Trek" creator's archives. Since its debut in 2000, “Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda” has been the number one action hour in first run syndication and is entering into its third season. Kevin has also been named the third most bankable star in syndication, behind Regis Philbin and Oprah Winfrey.

Recently, Kevin was cast as the lead in the independent feature “Clipping Adam” for first-time director Michael Picchiottino. Kevin will play Father Dan, a freethinking priest who helps a young boy cope with the death of his mother and sister.

Kevin quickly rose to international stardom in the title role of the hit series, “Hercules: The Legendary Journeys.” Beginning as five two-hour telefilms in 1993, the popularity of the made-for television movies resulted in the January 1995 launch of the weekly one-hour series, which became a breakout hit. Quickly becoming the number one first-run program in syndication, the innovative action hour revitalized the entire action/adventure genre on television and prompted two spin-off series. Kevin also directed two episodes of the show, and co-wrote one installment. In 1997, Kevin made his feature film debut with "Kull the Conqueror,” a prequel to “Conan the Barbarian.” Kevin has also appeared on several hit television shows such as “Dharma & Greg,” “Just Shoot Me,” “Cybill,” “The Commish,” and “Murder, She Wrote.” In addition to acting, Kevin is the spokesperson for “A World Fit for Kids,” a non-profit organization that provides gang, drug and dropout prevention programming to kids at risk.
