Yeah yeah yeah tadaima! well not completely tadaima since i'm still not back home in Americabut am still this house in Ikebukuro, Japan. At least i'm not on my little whirlwind tour of Japan like over this previous week and a half. I must admit, i did a lot of things over the course of that time....went to Kyoto to play tourist, went to Fujiyama and climbed Fuji (had to start climbing at like 3 in the morning to catch the sunrise above the clouds. i was NOT happy about that but the view at the top was worth it.) when i really think about it....looking down on clouds is so frickin cool!!! Went to a great onsen around there with my Hachimitsu group too and boy did we have a time but i cant disclose any of that info lol....
Then i headed up to Hokkaido to see an old friend (who handles my swords) and he agreed to balance out this new knife i got so it could be more comfortable to me when i use it. Speaking of Hokkaido, they're famous for their snow crabs and sea urchin and stuff but no one told me it wasnt the season for them. again i was NOT happy!!!! I also went to Okinawa but i didnt stay long there. with the base there and all the Americans crawling around there, it was meh to me. Beautiful looking water though i'll give it that much. I also wanted to see if i could find the shop where Saya and her family lived but i had no luck in that venture lol....
And with those memories forever etched into my mind, my group and I returned to Tokyo to see those (ugh) in-laws. I still have some stuff to work out with them, but they wont spoil my fun. You know....all the times i've been to Tokyo, i've never been to Roppongi in the hills to the north. they say thats the tourist or better yet the "foreign" section of Tokyo where all the outsiders reside. Maybe tomorrow i'll check it out and see what its like even though places like that are so not my style. why do you think i barely step foot in Okinawa??? I'm not gonna travel thousands of miles to go to a spot thats just like back home.....
So yeah....tadaima minna! I'll be here for maybe another week doing random shopping in Akihabara for novels and manga and OSTs, maybe get dragged along by my wife again for JRPGs (ugh!) and maybe.....well who knows. i cant predict the future so i cant say. I'm at a comp so i'll be actively posting again. Not like any of you bastards missed me anyway, but uh yeah.....tadaima......
