Videogame consoles have gotten so complicated that they can even't survive a proper lifespan. My first PC I built back in high school still runs; and I spent 7 hours building it off of trial and error. I just read about CamiKitten's PS3 dying. That's horrible. In the past 5 months I've had at least 4 friends have a console die on them. In fact, my Xbox 360 had its last breath in April. So, I bought a new one. NOW! This thing has trouble booting up sometimes, and I have to unplug the power cord and plug it back in order for it to turn on properly.

bugger! i know, i died a little inside when my 360 RROD'd - that's why you need multiple consoles so that one can... "console" you (haha, bad pun) while the other is in the hospital

D: yeah I miss my ps3, cause it's gonna take some time before I got extra cash to get her fixed. But I've had her for 2 years. We're not hard on her, but during the weekends I know it's on 12+ hours each day. So maybe I overused it? *sigh* And I just had a friend say his Elite crapped out too. Hopefully I'll be back on PSN soon, don't have too much fun w/o me
I'll just be relying on my DS and PS2.

I think that's true for any sort of technology. The more advanced it gets, the larger and more frequent does it's problems arise. It's the same for human health too isn't it? The more ways medicine finds to save human lives and fight known diseases, newer diseases just spring up,don't they?
