Yes. I just had a date the past Friday, and I can only consider it a date simply because the young lady I went out with that night was slightly dressed up. I was wearing some dress shoes, a pair of nice jeans, and a button up dress shirt. It was kind of semi-casual for me I guess. I think 3 or 4 days out of the week I dress like that so no big deal. Anyway, we went to see a movie, Taking to Woodstock to be more specific. That is a underrated film and a must see!

I got to the theater early and so I decided to get in line and buy us tickets. In the corner of my eyes I see her coming. Besides the white and pink Converse shoes the gal dyed her hair and had a pink Summer dress on. She obviously thought it was a date, and I'm glad I didn't wear anything too casual. She might have felt uncomfortable or embarrassed.

Boys, teenagers, and men here is a tip. When a lady friend dresses like that compliment her even if you're just friends. Why? Because I didn't. I was so surprised that I totally forgot. Other then the "date", gaming hasn't been a big part of my life in the past few weeks. For one reason I'm on a full schedule at college and work. Still, I've manage to treat myself with Little King's Story, Batman: Arkham Asylum, and today I purchased Muramasa: The Demon Blade for the Wii! This game is going to be a cult hit and people will be eBaying it in the future even if it's a medicore action-RPG.

----------------------------

The hockey season starts soon, and NHL 10 comes out next week! But what really has me stoked about the NHL season this year? It's not just the Carolina Hurricanes which are much larger now, but it's the NHL prospects throughout the league. The prospect tournament in Traverse City is underway which has a few NHL teams pitting their prospects against each other. The Carolina Hurricanes prospect team are the heavy favorite this year, and so far have beaten the Rangers, and Red Wing prospects.

They go/went against the Atlanta Thrashers prospects today which is a rivalry in the Southeast during the regular NHL season. Evander Kane is probably one of the biggest prospects in the NHL drafted at #4 overall by the Atlanta Thrashers in 2009. Even though his team has lost twice in the prospect tournament he has scored a goal in each game and has no AHL/NHL experience. Evander Kane is the youngest and highest player of African descent drafted in the NHL at the age of 17. He looks to make an immediate impact for the Atlanta Thrashers as a goal scoring power forward in his coming years. The Thrashers and Atlanta need a player like him.

how do you have a date that you don't know is a date? LOL - you better call that girl and tell her you had a nice time and that you're sorry you didn't compliment her - you forgot because you were so in awe of her beauty

Yeah! Hockey season! Yet another reason to love the fall! ^__^

@alexspike: You gotta do the victory fanfare after saying "go final fantasy". I do a victory fanfare every time I do go at something.

@megatonB: I might have more time this week. I just put myself in a good position by being ahead in some of my classes.

@SymonDezyn: I knew it was a date, but then I didn't know. I'm such a dork sometimes. I was like..."she's wearing that?!" 0.0

You didn't compliment her? Shame on you. At least you'll know better next time...I hope. For your sake at least.

And speaking of gaming, did I ever tell you about my shiny new Wii? Heh, now I can finally try out that King's Story game. Well, if I had the time, that is.
