Ok so my brother works for TGI Fridays for those who don't know what that is it's a restaurant. They have this thing caled there MIT program- managers in training. My brother is a part of it, they put him on salary and cut back his hours to just barely full-time and then Thanksgiving comes, so what do they do? They start making my brother work almost every day. I haven't seen my brother in three days he went into work on Thursday and I haven't seen him since, well maybe a grand total of 5 minutes this morning while he was getting readyfor work. He hasn't slept and apparently this will conitnue through out the entire holiday season. This happened last year, what a wonderful newholiday tradtion huh.

I used to be in fast-food mgmt., and we only got Easter,, Thanksgiving and Christmas off. If it was going to be busy, you either had to have someone reliable trained well enough to handle it, or you had to be there. Work, work, work.

yeah he can't even call in dead. even if he really was they would try to make him come in off the slab to work. slave drivers.

Plus they take taxes out of your last check, even if an inheritor picks it up ! We've really switched from an industrial to a service economy here in Cleveland. It's probably more and more that way everywhere in the US. Our country is being drained of it's wealth cuz the antichrist needs to be the big fat cat of the world. Marry young. He's already spending your home furnishing money !

I saw someone else with your photo icon ! You should try to color the hair red !
Posted Nov 28, 2005 8:05 pm PT
i'm actually thinking about using a pic from my fav show stargate. so it might change soon.
Posted Nov 29, 2005 3:45 pm PT
You should post a real photo of yourself, if that's possible at GS.
Posted Nov 30, 2005 3:04 pm PT
i could but i hate cameras.
Posted Nov 30, 2005 3:21 pm PT
Don't you get a school photo? (Maybe not if home-schooler)
Posted Nov 30, 2005 4:36 pm PT
I'm not in school anymore. My senior picture is ok but I'm about 30 pounds heavier now. I barely weighed 110 in high school.
Posted Dec 1, 2005 1:28 pm PT
Well, you mentioned medication once, and that can play a role.We live in an anorexic nation whose media promotes 6- foot tall models that look like they are in heroin withdrawal. 5-4, 140 is likely the American girl norm.Skinny women look boyish to me.(yuk) Of course, you're into those elf video games , so i bet you think that's ideal ! lol
Posted Dec 1, 2005 7:14 pm PT
nope, not really. i think being super skinny is disgusting. i hated being that thin in high school though, 130 pounds would have been just fine but now, i'm pushing 150 and i don't like that. most of my clothes that i bought when i got a real job don't fit me anymore because some of my meds make me gain weight, others make me lose it, but the ones that made me gain won out.

I'm sorry for your struggle. Did you say you have lupus? Sometimes I get different friends' personal details confused. How tall are you ? I used to use one of those national height/weight ratio charts to determine my weight and diet.It said I should weigh 150-155 for medium body type, so I fasted till I achieved it, but then felt very weak, so I gained it back and now feel great. I am in the upper half of physical activity level by job type though, while Office workers have to schedule separate time for fitness.I am a good 210 now(5-8/9), and while no one would call me slender, I don't have much fat on me.
Posted Dec 2, 2005 8:52 pm PT
My mother has lupus. I have hypoglycemia and other issues. I suffer from depression. I'm not slender by any means, i'm 5'6" and weigh 150lbs. not matter how much i exercise i can't get in shape and lose some of this weight. I would be happy if a lost about 10-15 lbs. I would probably feel better too. But yeah, my doctor and I are working on it.

You are one of the most emotionally balanced people I have chatted with at Gamespot. You DID seem a bit mature for a highschooler, lol. 150# isn't heavy for someone that's 5-6, unless your doctor says it's causing specific health probs.Another myth is doing situps to firm your stomach. That actually causes muscle buildup and your tummy might stik out more, but it's good for your health.I was always treated nicer by women with some weighty curves, and at this _very late_ stage, I have a really hard time even dialoging with slender women platonically.

oh, I miss you over at the Christian Union lately. There isn't much of a female voice there.I'm so weary of arguing with the Satanist !
Posted Dec 3, 2005 12:43 pm PT
ok. i can't do sit ups anyway because i have a bad back. weighty curves? is that a polite way of saying overweight, or pleasently plump? and thank you for saying that you think i'm emotinally balanced. just be happy you haven't seen my temper, yes i have the temper to match the hair. so how old are you?
Posted Dec 3, 2005 12:46 pm PT
Alright, pleasantly plump ! I'm attracted to heavy women. There I said it. Read your GS e-mail for clues to the -disgusting- scavenger hunt for my age !

inklingsfellowship. all one word. i know my church is doing a lot. in fact my pastor, his family and about 300 people from our church spent thanksgiving week in one of the hardest hit areas of MS. he was there with the group Newsong and Mark Wills and some other Christian singers. they ministered to over 15,000 families that week.

I think it's weird that certain buisinesses think they need to stay open 24 hours a day, seven days a week! Who the heck goes to fast food places at two a.m. except the occasional trucker?
Posted Dec 6, 2005 9:42 am PT
well there really isn't a need to because there are flying j truck stops everywhere. i understand they can move faster at night because there are not as many cars on the road. but still i don't know. fridays closes at like three in the morning around here.

I tried to join your Inklings group, but I guess there is another Mod, cuz I was NOT approved.
Posted Dec 6, 2005 4:19 pm PT
I went to a 24 hour place once after a late flight home, and the people sold TV;s (it was a pharmacy kinda place) and thye pulled up a TV and were playing poker and watching store DVDS in the dark

I studied up on your medical probs, and all the side emotional issues you have can be directly linked to hypoglycemia.I read there are 2 different types, and that you can be diabetic or non and have it. I had always wondered why famous blues guitarist BB King had gotten so "Lazy" with his guitar playing in recent years. Now seeing him on "One Touch Ultra" commercials, I realize diabetes can give a person the 'shakes'.

Posted Dec 11, 2005 1:37 pm PT
I;m still on hold for approval at Inklings (second attempt) Another AWOL Yahoo Mod !
Posted Dec 11, 2005 1:40 pm PT
ok not i don't know what an ikari warrior is. as to the yahoo group thing em is asking the others to vote on it, since it is an all girls thing she wants to know how they would feel if a guy joind in on the conversation. and don't be fooled by any of the screen names it was em's idea that we all take on nicknames of the original inklings group. i'm humphreys. i think i neesd to make another blog entry this on is getting rather full.

Is your first name really Nicole ?
Posted Dec 12, 2005 1:41 pm PT
yep, well actually that's my middle name. my first name shall not be revealed because no one can pronouce it correctly.
Posted Dec 12, 2005 2:32 pm PT
I can pronounce anything! Many of my teachers pronounce things wrong! You know how Telemachus is pronounced tel-em-u-kus? My World Hist. teacher calls him tel-u-mah-kus. He also says Sidartha Gautema, si-dar- tha guay-ta-ma, when it's si-dar-ta gow-ta-ma.
