Holy sh*t, Nano lives!!!

In case you didn't gather from the title, I got my Metaloclypse: Season One DVD that I ordered. Actually, I got it last week, but as usual I've just been lazy off my ass and didn't get on here and shout to the world about it... This is without a doubt THE best damn TV show on the entire f*cking PLANET!!!

All you who say otherwise... Well... The Metalocalypse has begun...

And now some bad news...

So I was supposed to only have two parts to this whole "Dethklok fix" set of entries... But no, I'm going to have to bump that up to three parts. Why? Because... I DIDN'T GET MY DETHKLOK CD!!!!!!! Why? Because... Apparently, the album (especially the deluxe edition, which I had ordered) sold like f*cking crazy!! Two days after it released (not even that, maybe), I got an e-mail from Amazon.com saying that they no longer had the item for sale and had to cancel my order for it. After getting over my initial anger at the site for pulling that sh*t, I discovered that it wasn't just Amazon that didn't have it. Lots of other places were totally sold out and couldn't offer it either. The damn thing sold like f*cking mad. So I'm here waiting for more reprints of the deluxe version of the album (the regular one-disc edition is still available, but I don't want that... I want my two discs of Dethklok goodness!) to come out... And to add insult to injury, I saw a copy of the deluxe Dethalbum at Best Buy when I was there on the 25th (of Sept.) picking up Arch Enemy's new album (which is hands-down one of the most bad-ass metal albums to come out this year!! ). But did I pick it up? Noooooooooooooooo... I said "Oh, you'll be getting yours in a week or so..." Yeah, right...

In hindsight, I should've bought that thing on the spot there, and just canceled my online order. I never guessed this thing would have been so hot... Of course, it is Dethklok...

In other news, Lamb of God, Killswitch Engage, Devildriver, and Soilwork are embarking on a short tour starting late November. Let me repeat that...

Lamb of God. Killswitch Engage. Devildriver. Soilwork. Oh. My. F*cking. God!!!!!!! Of all the positively bad-ass tours I've missed this year (Lamb of God/Machine Head/Trivium/Gojira earlier this year and Machine Head/Arch Enemy/Throwdown/Sanctity just recently), I am absolutely positively going to see this show, even if I have to drive to Detroit MI to do so!! But hey, I've driven 3+ hours to see bands before (remember Fear Factory last year?), so this isn't anything new. But oh my god, what a show to see...

In artistic news...

I'm currently working on a piece of work when I can get time to do so between schoolwork. If you recall one of my past journal entries on dA (for those of you who follow my operations there), I said that the next major thing I do would probably have to do with Ashelin of Jak series fame. Well, that about sums it up, as this piece features Ashelin, big miniguns, and... A background? Yes, I'm going to try doing a background for this piece. Hell, I could probably ink the thing as is, slap some color to it, post it here and call it good. But no, I want to do more than just that. No ink yet, just pencil. I've got so much I want to try to accomplish with this thing, but damn, I'm already excited about finishing it. I just can't decide if I want to put some of the work-in-progress phases I scanned up here yet... I usually don't put those up until after finishing a piece...

But damn... I'm excited about this thing...
