Wow, what a storm! I've never experienced anything like that before in my life. Germany, like most of the other countries in Northern and Central Europe, was a total mess yesterday. The railway system had been shut down, school children were sent home, fallen trees all over the place, some regions lost power, turned over trucks and cars on the streets and autobahns, destroyed buildings and bridges, and 10 deaths in Germany so far, 29 in Europe. That was, as far as I know, the first time that our entire country was affected by a storm, not only particular regions as usual.

As I already said in my previous comments, my partner got nearly hit by a falling tree on his way back home yesterday, it missed him only by inches. It took both of us quite a while to get over the shock, as you can imagine.

Fortunately the worst is over now and the state of emergency in Berlin has been lifted. I couldn't find anything new about Austria, Switzerland and Poland, but I hope you are all safe too.

To give you an idea how it looked like in Europe yesterday I added some pictures.

Nothing much happened today. The trains were running, but not on schedule, training was boring, and it's raining to no end. So all in all a relatively usual day. Except...

I finally leveled up! Level 19, 0.47 % It appears I did my math correctly yesterday.

To all Rome fans: Wasn't this a freaking awesome season opener? I expected much of this episode, in fact, I expect much of the entire season, but this exceeded my expectations by far. Wasn't it just great that they started the episode exactly at the point where the last one had ended? Well, not for Caesar, obviously, but it was nice to see him one last time.
And Mark Antony has still the best lines, right Tessa? .

M. Antony: I want no more blood. I want peace and stability. (Sure you do)

-----

M. Antony: Best wait until after the elections though.
Cassius: What elections?
M. Antony: Surely you thought this through.

My week has been quite busy so far, but I finally found a few minutes to write a new blog (well, not so much writing, rather posting pics, that is).

Isn't this great? We can upload our own icons now! At last! I had a hard time to pick one, as there were so many to choose from that it took me almost half an hour to decide on one.

Oh, and I just noticed that I became editor for a show. I didn't count the CPs all the time, and I thought it would take at least two or three more submissions, so it came a bit as a surprise. There's still a lot to do, but I think I'll have some time on the weekend to work on the guide (if I don't lose the battle over the pc again). This also means I got a new emblem :

I hope you have a great Friday, and enjoy your weekend!

And here's a special one for da sistas. I'm sure you'll like it. (Must be Greta's bad influence.

Have a great day!
