Yes Folks, I'm still here... not much here on TV.com, but still around and keeping an eye on what's about.
Life has been weird but very kind to me.
After getting sacked and having found a cool job as 'vid editor' (in which I still haven't edited one single vid, guess the boss made the job sound way better than it has turned out so far....)
My hours got cut in half and I had no rights, due to some stuppid work construction.
Thankfully I had kept my eyes open for other jobs and that sure paid off: a parttime job (freelance based, but pretty steady!), ass/back-up art director at a Publishing House, dedicated to Maritime Life and all it's aspects. Had done some freelance work 3 years ago and that made a great entry. At least they don't promise what they can't bring. (< is that even English??)
So, now I'm extreme busy working 2 parttime jobs and a (pet) photoshoot every now and than.
Along with losing my job last year, our dogs clashed for no apparant reason. Big bloody fights and my setting them apart every time. Kid crying over all the fuss and loads of stress. It came to the point, after many talks with the breeder and behaviour therapist, we had to say goodbye to one of the dogs ![]()
This all took place around Xmas, and newyears day we finally said goodbye to our puppy (pic above) of 2,5 years. Thankfully we did find him a very good home: an ex college of my partner, who just lost their rott.
However the story doesn't just end there....
After all the fights, the goodbye saying, the older dog (see profile pic), started to behave in a way I hadn't seen for 4 years... I started to think things over... and confronted my partner. We took a test... and yes, there's another little life growing in the belly as we speak! It took an echo to determine the lenght of the pregnancy, but I allready knew, counted from the day the dogs had started fighting... It all matched up; than 11.4 wks pregnant!
Slowly we starting to prepare for the big rollercoaster.
Best part is maybe that 2 of my best friends, who had to struggle so much for the same result are now both aspecting!!
Leatest pet photoshoot were 4 cats, still having to finish the shoot for the client, but I'm in love with her biggest cat:
And I promised an icy pic last blog and though it's SPRING now... here it is, Holland never changes:
Take care and hopefully till soon!
