I would post this on a forum, but I can't be bothered.
I remember, from when I was very little (I must have been 4, maybe 5, so it would have been at least 11 years ago), a show that I'm trying to name. It was animated, and I'm sure (as far as I can remember) it was about two orphans - a brother and a sister - who would run through the streets of Old London stealing food and such. I'm sure the opening scene, with the credit etc, had scenes of them running down a road with a train of saugages they had nicked. It was set in the 40's or so, and I remember the whole feel of it being very bleak and grey. I believe they lived on an old, abondoned boat, and they had a dog. Actually, I seem to remember the dog looking like the dog from the movie 'Mulan'.
Anyway, that's as much as I can remember. Maybe I can drag up more. Anyway, any help you guys can give me with a name (or better summary) would be much appreciated.

was it on ABC? and do you remember what time it used to come on? like mornings, or afternoons, and whether it was a regular every-day tv show or was only on once a week?

Yes, it was on ABC. Around the same time as The Animals of Farthing Wood. I think =|
I think it would have been a midday show, like before I started going to school. No, wait, possibly afternoon after school.

lol, well i think that i vaguely remember it... although i'm not sure. i definitely remember the animals of farthing wood, i remember, whenever it was starting me and my brother and sister would get all excieted, and if they were out of the room i'd shout out to them and tell them it was starting. *sigh* those were the days...
