I personally hated the first Marvel Ultimate Alliance game. Yes, there were a ton of heroes to select from the menu, but since the combat was so repetitive, it didn't really matter. I honestly don't know how anyone could like the first Ultimate Alliance game because of its sheer repetitiveness, lack of variety in anything, poor graphics, horribly designed levels, and stupid story. I couldn't even finish the game because it was so terrible. When you can't even tell where you're going in a level, then that's definitely not a good sign in terms of overall game design. If the second Ultimate Alliance is anything like the first (which I assume it is), then I'm probably not getting it.
In other news, I still haven't beaten the Batman game, nor Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood, either. Expect a review on that by the end of the weekend. My advice would be to pass on that title and go get Batman instead. I'm also debating whether or not to see "9" or "Jennifer's Body" or "The Informant." Whichever one I see, I'll post a review on it, as well.
