The perfect waste-away of your hard-earned cash.

The first question you should ask yourself before seeing this movie is: Am I in the mood to see uncalled for nudity, scenes involving lots of blood, and overall a terrible movie? If your answer is no, don't bother seeing this film. If your answer is yes, I'll try to knock some sense into you. "A Perfect Getaway" is about a couple named Cliff and Cydney who venture off to Hawaii for their honeymoon. They pick up some rather rude hitchhikers who ultimately don't go with them for some reason. As they hug to one coastal trail that's dangerously close to the edge, they meet Nick, a mysterious man with a knife and a sly smile plastered on his face who probably spends more time at the gym benching 300 than with his girlfriend. He was apparently in the army and took a frag grenade to the head, so he has some titanium metal instead of his skull at the back of his head. For an unknown reason Cliff and Cydney decide to go with him. He leads them to a small waterfall where his naked girlfriend is bathing, and he in turn strips down to nothing, unnecessarily revealing his bare buttocks in the process. Cydney joins the nude trio while Cliff ventures off and looks on his Blackberry about a murder in a nearby island. He also encounters the same couple who refused to ride with them. Nick suddenly decides to put some clothes back on and goes out searching for Cliff. He finds cliff talking to the couple, and smiles weirdly at the man once Cliff left the area. Gathering their belongings (and clothes), the two couples hike. And continue to hike. And hike some more. FOR OVER AN HOUR. These sequences are separated briefly by Cliff and Cydney talking about how they don't even know anything about Nick, and also Cydney talking about a sex experience. Eventually a police chopper takes away the hitchhiking couple after discovering human teeth in their bag. The real twist comes later Nick and Cliff kayak into a cave. For those of you who don't want the climax to be spoiled, read my "long story short" section. SPOILER** Cliff and Cydney happen to be the real killers. This automatically makes several previous scenes make no sense at all. Cliff pulls a pistol on Nick and shoots him in the head. But Nick survived because the bullet hit the titanium somehow, even though it's at the back of his head, so how's that even possible without the bullet going straight through his head? Nick's girlfriend arrives at the top of the cave, but Cliff notices her and shoots his pistol at her around 10 times. Somehow she didn't even get hit once. Hello, you can't dodge bullets, and this isn't the Matrix, either! And the thing is it showed him firing the bullets before she ducked. Cliff climbs to ledge and fires 20 bullets without bothering to stick his head over the ledge to see what he's aiming. Despite that, Nick's girlfriend would've been dead anyway, making it extremely unrealistic. Cliff later gets a knife stuck through his left hand and gets his middle finger of his right hand slice off, yet he hardly felt any pain? SPOILER END** So, should you watch this movie? No. It's absolutely god awful and doesn't make any sense and is really over-the-top unrealistic.
Long story short: This has got to be in my bottom five worst movies ever. Don't see it at all, period.
