I am currently a college student studying Game Design and 3D Modeling. I used to be heavy in psychology, and before that I used to be a swimmer.
During my last year of high school I knew I could strive to be an Olympic swimmer, or follow a whole new passion. From previous years I studied psychology as a backup plan, but when it came to choosing a major, I knew that the video game industry was the only place I was going to truly be happy.
From my very first day at college I knew I wanted to be in video games. I wanted to be a game designer like Will Wright, Peter Molyneux (Note1), and many more. I ended up following a 3D path for a little a couple years, but still have always deep down wanted to do game design.
Lately I been jacking up my hours of research into the game industry, game design, and how everyone interacts with each other on the teams. I am looking for an internship with EA next summer, and hopefully, in the future, a job with them.
When on Gamespot I can be a harsh critic. When it comes down to talking in real life though, with people about their projects I am still as picky and harsh, but in a more productive way, especially if it is for a class, internship, or job. I am very blunt sometimes, but I never try to say anything mean. I am a very kind person, and am on here to help anyone with any issues that I can, as well as other websites that focus more on 3D and other gaming aspects.
Note1: To those who don’t know my opinion of Molyneux, I just think he should not say so much about some of his games, but at the same time I love hearing his creative ideas. It is kind of like, why do you torture your consumers by teasing them, haha. He really is a nice great guy though. I don’t hold anything against him really. It is just almost like when a girl gets a guy all “in the mood”, then turns him down just to play with his mind.
