Alright. We've all seen the Sony Press Conference. It's no secret they ripped off the Wii. The question is, to what success? This is a little different than rumble. With rumble, a shaking controller is a shaking controller.
What sets the Wii apart is its design. Remember, it's a remote. People don't realize this yet, but the design of the controller is more important than its capability. What's going to feel more natural? Tilting the dual shock w/ both hands, or flicking your wrist with a remote?
Honestly... How's golfing going to work with Sony's controller. What about sword fights? It's a lot harder to point a dual shock than a remote. Plus the Wii controller has no moving parts. What happens when one of the tilt sensors gets stuck?
For that matter, did you see the airplane demo? The guy couldn't even land the plane right. How's that for intuitive? No, the Wii is not in trouble at all. Perhaps its thunder has been stolen, but at $600, who's going to care?
