Hey Sailors,
blogging again so soon I know, your brains just imploded right? Yeah it's pretty shocking. Truth is, I'm blogging solely for the purposes of procrastination. Avoiding the horrors that accompany the task of studying for Ancient History ---> exam on Monday. Shhh, but don't tell my profile eh? I don't want to hurt his poor profilic feelings by finding out that I'm using him. Yes, my profile is male, and yes that does make me strange. Lap it up, but let's get off that tangent; so exams: I've already done both English Advanced papers and Studies of Religion, so four more to go and then it's all television, all the time. FTB.
It's pretty sweet for my Extension English one exam, I get to use Kathy Reichs as a related text, so five hours of reading Deja Dead is constituted as study hehe.
I finished The X-Files! The finale was legendary, and I know the Truth now, so beware, I'm armed. My favourite parts of the two part episode was the shipper moments [of course]. And I loved having Mulder back. Some of his lines where hilarious.
Best Moments
Before anything else the absolutely best quote in this whole episode, maybe in the whole of season 8 and 9, it had me literally rolling on the floor:
MULDER: I smelled you coming, Clarice.
Some other pretty profound quotes were:
REYES: What is the point of all of this? To destroy a man who seeks the truth or to destroy the truth so no man can seek it? Either way, you lose.
And
SCULLY: You've always said that you want to believe. But believe in what Mulder? If this is the truth that you've been looking for then what is left to believe in?
MULDER: I want to believe that the dead are not lost to us. That they speak to us as part of something greater than us-- greater than any alien force. And if you and I are powerless now, I want to believe that if we listen to what's speaking, it can give us the power to save ourselves.
SCULLY: Then we believe the same thing.

Mulder pretending to blow off Scully
*fans self* squeeee
The Cigarette Smoking Man incinerated? THAT is some serious ironic bird feedage.
Pure genius to end in the beginning, they paralleled the first time MS bonded in the pilot for the final scene.
I've also been playing with icons from the finale, but because of the HSC I've only finished one good one. Not my usual, but nice.

And I found an awweeesome source of all things The X-Files that hooked me up with these frell-tastic gifs.

Oh and seeing as we're on the topic of finale's, I finished Kyle XY the other day too, talk about DUD. Completely hopeless ending. It's like they thought "let's just tack on a mandatory twist ending and fade to black." No closure, felt so ripped off. Very disappointed.
BOOONNNESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSss tomorrow ---->The Bond in the Boot, I'm soooo exicted. I spoilered myself about the plumbing scene, plus the ads have been showing it too. AND It's been confirmed that Zooey is going to be in the Christmas episode squeeeeeee. And And and there's is going to be a Bones episode titled 'The X in the File'. I'm in television heaven! I swear. Too bad you guys in the U.S have to wait a month for new Bones because of the baseball

That's all for now, I really didn't have a point to this blog. btw updated my About Me.
MT O.o
I just spent the last hour dancing around the house, Dorritos in one hand, Salsa dip in the other, both in my mouth and an Eskimo hat on my head singing "Seven days till Bones." over and over again.

Moral of the Blag: Don't ever step in front of a speeding Italian.
Explanation;
I had a Lockdown study day camp this past week.
What that means is, they take a group of poor unsuspecting kiddlets who are sitting their Senior Finals in a few weeks and chide them into study for five hours every day. We got great food, the leaders were awesome Christian people and we got to go home at the end of the day ß always good. Plus it was hosted at my school so it felt really comfortable.
SO, we were playing this epic game of soccer in the hall during lunch study break, me and my school friends against three boys from another school, rep soccer players, big, ripped Italian boys..and then there was me, straddling the line between adolescence and adulthood, barely 5'3'' and weighing just shy of 50 kilos. *gulp*
Long story short, my friend lobbed a nice shot just left of the goals, I was playing left wing/striker and wasn't about to pass up that opportunity right? Playing with all these boys, a girl's got to prove herself. I went in for the header, which came off nice and clean btw - the next thing I know I'm being knocked to the floor, hard, and something fell heavily on top of me. The boy was nice about it, you know, I think he probably felt guilty for ploughing me over.
I scored the goal, so that was pretty sweet, but came away with bruised ribs and face, a corked calf muscle, seriously out of wind and I couldn't move my arm! My left arm! Two weeks before HSC exams and I couldn't move my writing arm. The only thought going through my mind - as I was writhing around on the floor of the hall was "My English teacher is gonna kill me." ..okay so maybe the thoughts weren't as coherent as that, but that you get the drift.
Turns out it wasn't broken *phew* but my elbow and knee swelled up pretty nicely, and I'm starting to be able to raise my arm above my head without too much pain =)
That was the Tuesday just passed, on Friday our team won the 'Grand final' of our little study break games. We owned those rep players =)

MT < newly legalised *goes to join the army*
UPDATED: totally realised I should have given you a rundown of what I got for my birthday, so
I got two awesome hats, including the eskimo one ^^ see above, I got money =) a novel; A Spot Of Bother by Mark Haddon, two albums; Rascal Flatts 'Unstoppable' and Joshua Radin 'We Were Here'. A skeleton pen hehe, How I Met Your Mother season1, Pushing Daisies season 1, The X-Files season 1, The X-Files Complication which has Fight the Future, I Want To Believe and Essentials, whoop and I got a new Television with in built DVD for my bedroom.
Happy three year tome-aversary everyone! Well, just me, but hey it's just one more reason to partAY as my good friend Dr. Geller would say. And I remembered this year too; how good am I? I was sitting in English this morning, half listening to my English teacher [wonderfully hilarious person btw] spout off something a rather about Belonging [Area of study] this, and Bloom's Taxonomy that, accompanied by a myriad of humorous and emphatic hand gestures to convey her point. The other half of my brain was ruminating on the wonderousness of September the Seventeenth. Emmy's!!! And of course Bones, but that's only for the U.S so even though it's exciting, the excitement is tainted by bitter feelings towards Channel Seven, as my best friend always 'jokingly' suggests; "Why don't we just bomb them?"
Good idea. Did you hear that AZO? Yes this fits quite nicely with my plot to take over the world and rule it with an Iron Hoof. AND the new Zooey Deschanel movie premieres this supreme Thursday, 500 Days Of Summer. Afore mentioned best friend and I plan on attending a viewing of said movie this weekend. Whoop!
One, two, skip a few and the POINT is; in cogitating on the supremacy of this coming day I recalled that in fact my tvDOTbirthday was also around this time of September. The 15th I knew. I put two and two together knowing in my genius mind that Bones et al, all was all happening on Thursday the 17th, thusly making today, Tuesday, the 15th. So smart I scare myself eh?
Stick around for partAY bags and favours.
Also levelled to Young and Restless; Mad skills.
Sadly, and frighteningly, the HSC is in 4 weeks *gulp*, that would be the VCE for all you Victorians, and don't even ask me what that is in American - whatever the exams are called you take as graduating Seniors of High School. Yes, so that is currently looming; should in fact be studying now, reading some novel or something. Eh. And we all know what the HSC REALLY is right? Yes that's right, it's all one mass socio-governmental conspiracy to create an army of grammatically correct alien-human hybrids that know how to differentiate between xylem and phloem.
Currently in the middle of my second full Boneless week; so bit depressed. Uh, and just to clarify, when I say 'a bit depressed' that CLEARLY means I am suffering Earlier Onset Bones Withdrawal - symptoms may include; mild depression, severe longing, compulsive tendencies toward fanfiction and/or fanvids and denial.
Just to clarify.
But to celebrate my three year anniversary at this site I thought I share a sneak peak at my batch of icons under construction at the moment.
I already did the tradition thanking of friends and what not, even though that blog got wiped after the glitch was corrected *grumbles*
It's my first dabble, SOME are from bases but I am in year 12 and time is a minimum and I'm still getting the hang of things so play nice. lol.
