Hello Gamespotters! *is so totally cool*
I thought I'd post another blog because there really is nothing else to do. And two things have been on my mind recently. I've been trying to write my own sort of wrestling show and it's so damn hard. The concept is easy enough but actually writing the shows is pretty difficult. I'm glad it's not my job; I'm doing it to post on a wrestling forum but I may post it in my blog if I fancy it.
Also, music. Specifically, The Smiths. Oh what a wonderful band they were. Still are wonderful in fact. I've been itching to listen to The Smiths a lot ever since going to see Morrissey live in concert last Thursday. It was my first concert and to see Morrissey up close was really cool. One of the best nights ever.
So I just wanted to ask if any of you get obsessed with a band after seeing them live? Or whether any of my readers like wrestling. Not that anybody would want to admit to it I'm sure, but still. I've got to go, still trying to write that blasted wrestling thing. Grrrr.
I'm listening to "William, it was really nothing" by The Smiths and you just read my blog.
Hello Gamespotters!
Allow me to set the scene. It's currently November 8th. The cold winds have come on all of a sudden. Guyfawke's has finally come to a close in terms of the fact that people have finally stopped setting off fireworks. Blasted things. Halloween has also come and gone, which means there is pretty much just two "holidays" left until the end of the year. Christmas and New Years.
Over a roast dinner last week, my parents casually dropped me the question of what I wanted for Christmas. Naturally I was flabbegasted! I was simply munching on some chicken and gravy and WHAM the question hit me like a piano. They suggested a laptop of all things which really took my by surprise. Usually they wouldn't spend more than a couple hundred on each of us. A laptop alone would cost around £300 for a decent one. Then again, they spoilt my little sister rotten last Christmas (my mum retains the fact that the laptop was dad's idea, not hers.)
I said I'd love one but they always talk about not spending so much money at Christmas and saving up. I would love a laptop purely for the fact that I use the family laptop more than anyone else in the house and that I would love my own personal computer to customise and download whatever the hell I want. So I'm looking forward to such a great gift as anone would be but I'm worried about the long run.
Then again, when they got my little sister a laptop last year it was on top of all the other presents they had already got her. My dad was feeling a bit too generous last year my mum thinks, considering she got CD's, an iPod Nano and other bits. They thought I was jealous because she got a laptop but it was really because I got my hopes up when I thought they were getting me an Xbox 360 and it wasn't there on the morning. Kinda my fault because I thought my parents were trying to trick me when they said they had already gotten me something else.
But anyway, I suppose I'm looking forward to Christmas. I don't think I'll ever get too old to enjoy it. They've already started playing Christmas songs at work as well. Eeeh. I don't mind it. But they're still playing random pop songs in between the Christmassy ones so it sounds a bit iffy. I've rambled on for far too long. If you wanna share any thoughts about Christmas or the fact that people seem to be reminded about it earlier and earlier each year, leave a comment or something.
I'm listening to my cat purr and you've just read my blog.
Hello Gamespotters!
Just when you thought you were rid of me I have arisen rom the ashes like a horrible rash! The kind you should go to the doctors for but you're a bit too embarassed. We've all been there. It's okay. You're not alone! But like all my other blogs, I digress. I noticed I had become somewhat inactive on here recently so I decided to come back and see what was happening and to my surprise, I was tagged! -GASP- So I guess I get to write five facts about myself for all my lovely stalkers to read :3
1. I'm English and damn proud about it. Well, I'm a quarter Irish too. I live in Sutton (fairly close to London) and it's not too bad. Some decent places to shop and as far as little-ish towns go it's fairly busy.
2. Despite how nice my town is I'd rather stay indoors! I'm more of an indoorsy guy and my girlfriends hates me for it because she loves to go out. When I do go out I like going to the cinemas and just going out for a meal.
3. I love love love music. I love music that sounds like it's got a lot of layers to it that almost harmonise with eachother. Or whatever the term is. But basically, yeah. That's it. I love rediscovering old music I like too because I usually go through phases of not liking something for a while and loving it about a month or two later. ENTER SHIKARI!
4. As much as I'm almost ashamed to admit it, I like wrestling! Sweaty men in tights are awesome. Okay I don't like it in that way but I can't help it. I've been watching wrestling since I was about 10 (so about 8 years) and it's just something which you can have a good moan and rant about. Which being British, moaning is obviously something I love to do whilst tucking into my morning tea and crumpets.
5. This fact should be the best one... So... I have no idea. I'll just tell you about the history of my pets. We had a cat called Coco, who gave birth to Bluey (boy) and Poppy (girl). Coco and Poppy gave birth at the same time a few months later and we literally had over ten kittens running around the place at one time. I'll try and list all their names:
- Chubby (Fat black cat)
- Mini Me (Small black cat who always followed Chubby around)
- Tabby (One of the Tabby twins)
- Toffee (The Other Tabby Twins)
- Winnie (A ginger blonde cat)
The only cat we have now is Poppy because we gave all our other cats away to good homes, but Coco was run over about a year or two ago. But Poppy is a great cat, even if all she ever wants to do is eat, drink and sleep lol. Well there are your five facts! I hope you found them to be some sort of entertainment. But I doubt it.
I'm listening to Sorry You're Not a Winner and you've just read my blog.
