That's true. It's surprising how many more friend requests I get from people I pound on than the ones who do the pounding.

I guess you just stand out when you pwn people on halo 2. Thats all i can figure. I mean these people see the scoreboard and there is only one place that is important, and that is the first place, the winner.
I know in coop games like ghost recon its the same thing, if you are good and own the baddies, people start listening to your orders. Eventually you're thier general, telling them to break into squads, and they listen.
These are the best parts of Online gaming.
