Being out of the saddle for more than 2 weeks has such an amazing effect on one's constitution... however, it's extraordinarily detrimental to one's TV.com level and rank! ;-(

I took a date to this film and fell more in love with her. Credit Meyers for pioneering the annoying cultural phenomenon of spoken word jokes for the next 5 years.

Happy Gilmore is one of those films that sneaks into your life, whips you into a frenzy, and then leaves you reciting line after line with a huge grin on your face... "it's all in the hips, yeah."

I've probably seen this movie three dozen times, and it gets better with every viewing. The nuanced performances combined with wild shadow effects makes for such a fun ride!

One of Gary Oldman's best movies... he is undetected as a New York cop, and the depraved antics that he gets into with Olin and Lewis are riveting. "Put it in the box, Jack."
