Hi! Call me Mr.Saturn33! I like to be called MrSaturn33 because Mr.Saturn is one of my fovorite videogame characters! I am a boy and have plenty of games. Feel free to track me!
This is the wikipedia page for the FC Twin, which I just read about 50 times. Why? Well, they said this:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"While the FC Twin is Super Famicom compatible, two plastic tabs in the cartridge slot prevent them from fitting. These tabs must be removed- or otherwise worked around- to play Super Famicom titles. Similar tabs are used in the American Super NES. PAL games work just fine.
Using Super Famicom cartridges with the FC Twin's tabs removed, it takes a number of attempts to get any cartridge running. This makes it hard to recommend this unit for Super Famicom use. Also, the FC Twin does not have a lockout chip to prevent bootleg games from being played. This also causes compatibility isues with later games with the Nintendo SA-1 coprocessor that were programmed to detect if the SNES lockout was disabled. "
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(Keep in mind Earthbound does not use this "lockout chip" thing that later games such as KSS and SMRPG did) I don't know If I should remove the fat, wide, tabs at the bottom, or the thin, hard tabs at the top. I'm guessing the latter. But how would I remove it??
With a kitchen Knife? A saw? WTF!?
Here Is a vid showing some guy play a SNES game, a PAL SNES game, and a Super Famicom Game on his FCTwin. He pribably took out the tabs, and I asked him in a PM--Never got a response.
Also, starmen.net said this about MOTHER 2:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Unless you own a Super Famicom, you will have trouble inserting the Mother 2 cartridge into your SNES. However, there are a few ways to fix this problem:
1. Use a Game Genie
2. Purchase a Super Famicom->Super Nintendo converter
3. Modify your SNES and/or the cartridge to make it fit
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Do any of you have proof that a Game Genie can do this? Also, is it possible that the Fctwin can do things the SNES can't, and I just have to keep trying? I looked all over for this "Converter" and didn't find a single thing. And there's NO WAY I'm even opening my FCTwin.
( P.S. It Is VERY important that I mention a few times, I saw a mass of pixels that resembled colors from the game. Once, I in fact saw a floating Ness head.
)
With the box and everyhing!
It's an Earthbound's fan dream come true!
My brother and his TV are in his room now so I can't play it yet...
LOL ![]()
Also, let me explain each hint I said before:
1. Purple VS Red: Earthbound's title screen is purple, while MOTHER 2's is red.
2. The text is educational: Because It's in Japanese, plus Iv'e memorized what some people say, so I ight pick up a little.
3. It's from Japan: I ****ed here. I should have said, "It's in Japanese".
Later, I'll scan the intrustion book!!
Mario wiki says:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars was released on the Virtual Console in Europe and Australia on August 22nd."
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You know what this means!!

Soon, wer'e gonna have SMRPG!!! ![]()
