Yeah, so since my last blog post I've purchased a number of things.
First was Super Paper Mario. Amazing game. Upon it's release, I was sort of skeptical with how it would work with the whole platformer-first approach. Despite the great reviews I kind of ignored this game after that. Well, after telling myself numerous times that it was my own fault I wasn't playing my Wii, I decided to give this game a shot. Great choice. SPM is amazing. Not quite as memorable as the first game, but definitely a great experience. I still have yet to complete Flopside Pit of 100 Trials (which I will need to do twice). Don't worry I'll get there.
Next I bought Banjo-Tooie on XBLA. Great game. It's difficult to compare it to the first game, since it's so different. Sure the comedy, the core gameplay, the characters we all know and love are still there, but then there's so much new stuff it blows my mind. I've never seen a sequel that's so true to the original yet so different. Fantastic game nevertheless. This one is mcuh harder, that's certain. All of the levels kind of intertwine so many times you need to wait to get a jiggy in level A because there's a skill you need or a hole you need to jump into in level B to get to it. And to top it off, I can't find where the heck Grunty Industries is. Seriously, where is the entrance to the level? I had to get every friggin jiggy I could so I could skip it in hopes that I could find a interlevel connection or something. Oh well. Nothing can be done about it right now, but I'll get to that in a minute.
Lastly I've purchased all of the Fallout 3 add-ons. First I bought the Pitt. Great add-on. Decent story, the arena was cool but short-lived, nice weapon additions, and the steel ingot side-quest was pretty fun (and worth completing). Couldn't bring myself to going through with the last bit though. ha ha. Next was Operation Anchorage. Not as good as the Pitt but it was fun. Good loot to gain in the end, plus you get to kill a lot of communists. That's good, right? Last was Broken Steel. Now, sadly enough I haven't played much of this, although I'm looking foward to finishing it. Here's why.

My Xbox 360 is broken. I got the E74 error, which basically means something in my poor 360 crapped the bed. I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting everything, I've tried yelling at it, no dice. Luckily, this problem is covered in the three year warranty extension and I've only had my 360 for 1 1/2 years. So hopefully MS will fix this thing for free. I've got some witches to hunt and some enclave forces to destroy.

DS remakes of Gold and Silver. It had to happen and it did. I'll be getting Soul Silver on launch day. Will you?
